This product does contain bleach.
I purchased this product believing that it did not contain bleach. Bleach damages the stitching on vinyl upholstery. Immediately after spraying this product on our vinyl upholstery, the odor of bleach was significantly strong. We rinsed the product immediately. I looked on the bottle for the ingredients list, and of course it was not there. This product should be labeled as containing bleach. From a consumer perspective I am very dissatisfied at being mislead and wasting my time and money.

Unbelievable product
I purchased a boat that had been sitting uncovered in the Texas heat and elements for nearly 10 years. We used Comet cleanser and scrub brushes and worked for days to clean the inside and outside of the boat. Amazingly the boat came through unscaved and you would never know that it had been sitting for as long as it had except the mildew stains on the interior. Nothing we tried would even make a mark on the black mildew stains I did a little research online and came across this product. It's unbelievable I sprayed a test panel approximately 3 foot by 3 foot went in the garage to get a rag to wipe when I came back out a hundred percent in the mildew was gone. We had fully plan on reupholstering the inside of the boat when we purchased it now we don't have to unbelievable product it just saved us thousands of dollars on interior damage it looks like brand new.Wow!!!

Works well, but expensive
Yes, this stuff works and works quite well. I was desperate after having used heavy concentrations of bleach and a power washer and still having so much mildew that no-one would ever want to sit on my vinyl. I thought the seats were irreversably ruined, but gave the Marine 31 a try as a last resort. I saw immediate results after waiting just a few minutes. Several more applications and a little scrubbing brought the vinyl back to acceptable shape, but far from "wow" with several light stains still visable. So I kept re-applying the product until I had used up the entire bottle. Each time the stains got a little less noticable. I was just about to order another bottle when it occurred to me that this product smelled and had the same slippery feel on my hands as something I used a couple years back to power wash the outside of my house - Tilex Pro Results Mold & Mildew stain remover. I still had some, so I tried it. It seemed to work every bit as well as the Marine 31. After several more applications of the Tilex the vinyl now looks amazing. With most of the subsequent applications I didn't even bother scrubbing, just let it sit several minutes. I was fortunate that I had a very cloudy humid day that helped keep the seats moist and allowed it time to work. The only difference I see is price - 20 oz of Marine 31 for $20.00, or 128 oz of Tilex for $12.98. Like I said, this product does the job very well, just very expensive.

It does what it says it will do...
It did an awesome job. Some spots I had to spray multiple times and it still wouldn't clean it off 100%, but the results are still very great. For the most part you just spray it on and mildew disappears in front of your eyes.Make sure to wash it off after.I ruined my shorts, so wear old cloth and also wear gloves. Strong bleach involved. It will do the job and for the money, I think it will make you very happy. Professional detailers sometimes can't come close to what this will do, for so much cheaper.I ordered 2 but I was able to get my 18 ft boat cleaned with 1 bottle. I would suggest getting 2 because this thing is worth the money, regardless of when you will use it again. Or if your boat is very dirty and you have to go over a few more times.

Only product that has worked on my pontoon seats!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I've tried everything there is out there to remove mold/mildew from my pontoon and this is the only thing that has worked. This includes most if not all of the 3M products, Starbrite, Magic Erasers, Multiple soaps and whatever else was available at West Marine. To start, I just sprayed this stuff on and it began to work within minutes. I'd have to say it just washes or melts all the crud right off the vinyl seats. No scrubbing, brushing or anything to begin with.I've attached a video to show the before and after along with two pictures of how the seats looked before I started.Sorry for all the rambling in the video. (We just moved so I didn't have time to treat my seats.) Anyhow, I hope this can give you an idea of how awesome this stuff is JUST FROM SPRAYING!!!!I can't believe how good this stuff works. It does have a strong bleach smell so please be aware that you could damage anything that's sensitive to bleach products. If you need to scrub with a rag or anything, you need to wear some rubber/latex gloves----trust me I found out the hard way! Once complete ensure you FULLY wash all of this stuff off and seal it with whatever mold/mildew inhibitor you have. If you do not fully wash off the Remover, it will begin to degrade the stitching in your seats. I used the same brand (Marine 31) Mildew Guard this weekend and will see how it performs with my boat cover on. I also run a box fan 24/7 under the boat cover to keep air circulating.I have a 2013 22' Bennington Pontoon.I hope this helps anyone with the same problems I've been having.

Excellent
I tried EVERYTHING on the seats of my golf cart and pontoon and some items worked a little. The best item used was Simple Green which pretty much works removing any type of dirt or grime. I ordered Marine 31 Mildew Remover and that changed my whole attitude about what to use on seats. I sprayed some on the golf cart after using Simple Green. I let it set for about 10 minutes....went back to check on it and behold....the seats were absolutely clean! No wiping down, no scrubbing. Spray on. Walk away and boom...it's done! I just loaned my neighbor some and decided to order a new bottle to keep around. No doubt this is the best I've ever used.
