good fun for kids

It's much harder than I thought and I feel like it'll be good practice.

I bought this as I've been looking for some extra in car entertainment for the kids that doesn't involve looking at a screen. I have a 5 year old and a 4 year old and they enjoy playing about with my 3x3 but it's way too complicated for them.They both have loved this. We started off by setting them easier challenges. First was to get complete colours on 1 face. They can both manage fine but takes a few minutes. They have both progressed onto 2 complete faces now. It's actually surprisingly hard to complete, even as an adult. Hopefully it takes them a while to complete because the struggle is what keeps them interested.The cube itself feels great. I prefer the feel and movement of this to my actual 3x3 Rubix cube. It's feels good quality and there's so stickers to peel off like some cheap ones I've seen. Highly recommended if you have some little ones who need to keep their hands busy and brains working.

I could never finish the original Rubik's cube so thought I should be able to this one. However it took me ages to finish even though it is much smaller. The kids in the family found it easier to do than I did and immediately went into competitive mode to see who could finish it first. It is fairly easy to manoeuvre but the more it is used the easier it gets. I thought this might also be good for my husband who is constantly fidgeting due to an illness.

Overall, this a very good speedcube. It is very efficient and the turns are a lot better than many other 2x2 speedcubes. It has very clear, glossy colours and you can tighten it by screwing the screws in further. I definitely recommend this for anyone.

The cube is a bit smaller than I imagined but it fits my adult hands nicely. Incredibly smooth to turn and twist - remember how clunky and clicky the old Rubix cube was? Well this isn't! I think there's ball bearings making it so easy and quiet to play with.Perfect for both adults and children as a distraction type of puzzle. I like it.

The box was a textured cardboard box. This cube is surprisingly difficult to use and fun as it is less frustrating to use than the full cube which makes it ideal for beginners. the plastic is good quality and the design is better than the stickers version. The movements are nice and smooth too. The cube is definitely worth it for £5.98 if you want to start learning how to solve cubes or want a different challenge.

Very smooth movement, nice, bright colours, nice and study mechanism. This is stickerless, so basically the sides are made up of different colours of plastic, rather than a coloured sticker on a black plastic background. This looks so much better in my opinion.I wanted something that would help me stay focused, be small and easy enough to carry and also be a bit of a talking point. I can certainly say that this more than meets the mark. When people see it, they think it'll be a doddle to solve. While it is easier than the 3x3x3 cube, it's still pretty challenging... Or maybe that says more about me than the puzzle. Great value for such a fun puzzle. Highly recommended!
