C**T
A good (and quick!) read for fans of the classic era of stand up.
This was a right riveting read for me who became a fan, in my formative years, of The Comedians, and in particular of Mick Miller, Manning, Carson, Boardman, etc. There's plenty of content despite it being quite a short book (i.e. it doesn't spend 4 chapters droning on about school days and stuff nobody's interested in as is often the case with celeb autobiographies). Only 4 stars for the shoddy proof reading, or lack thereof. That's not the fault of the author(s) but of the publishing company. It's poor and interrupts the flow on several occasions as you hit typos which cause you to have to re-read bits to understand what was meant.
