Perfect for vintage Cesca chair frames
These were a perfect replacement for the glides on 40 year old Cesca chairs I bought second hand.Just throw them in a pot of boiling water for 30 seconds before attaching to chair. This will make them more pliable and easy to attach. Without this step, you won’t be able to get them on.

Easy to install and fit well
My chairs are more than 30 yers old. The original gliders lasted between 15 and 20 years. Although the new gliders are good, I do not know how long they last.

Perfect fit for vintage Arrben Tamara chairs!
Recently I purchased a set of vintage Italian Arrben Tamara folding leather and chrome chairs. The original chair glides were missing. I searched extensively online and eventually found these chair glides. I was a bit skeptical about buying them as I was not sure how they would fit my chairs whose chrome frame is a bit more squared off than the tubular Breuer chairs. These chair glides fit perfectly in the holes in my chrome chairs and work perfectly! I cannot be more thrilled about this.

Perfect fit on my chrome cane chairs.
Excellent replacement gliders. 15 seconds in boiling water and they slip on without any effort.

YOU HAVE TO BOIL THE PART FOR 20 SECONDS BEFORE INSTALLATION
I WAS LOOKING FOR GLIDES THAT WOULD FIT A 1-1/4" BAR STOOL BASE, I CHOOSE THESE BECAUSE IT WOULD FIT A 1-1/8" TUBE,THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD MAKE THEM WORK, WHEN THEY ARRIVED THERE WAS A NOTE THAT SAYS "PLACE IN BOILING WATER FOR 20 SECONDS PRIOR TO INSTALL".PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS A GLIDE THAT WILL FIT MY BAR STOOLS

The chairs do slide easily over my tile floors.
They slide easily with only slight resistance. Before mounting, placing them in boiling water for a few minutes is essential. Otherwise, they are difficult to snap onto the tubular steel chair legs. After mounting they will fit snugly. Use a titanium bit to drill (widen) the hole for the nub on the glide.
