Remington Accessories 18494, Gun Sack with Silicon-Multi-Green 52" Long

I shopped around many different places until I settled on these. They work as advertised. I am using them for storing my long guns in my safe. I purchased five of these. It fit all of my long guns... SIG522 with no scope, Mossberg 500 with micro red dot, Remington 700 with scope, AR15 with iron sights, AK with iron sights. Some of the guns were pretty tight. If I put a scope on my AR I am not sure if it would fit. The length is fine for all my guns, the only issue would be the width. The material stretches, but not a lot. The socks are sturdy and I am sure they will last a long time. These fit my needs perfectly, I would recommend.

I bought two gun socks, a Remington and an Allen, to protect the barrel and stock on my 12 gauge Remington Express. I tried to cover the stock with the Remington sock but it was too narrow to fit over the stock. So, I used the Remington to cover the 28 in gun barrel. The Allen gun sock is much wider and covers the entire stock. There is lelftover on both socks but each sock comes with a cord to tie off excess length. I'm glad I ordered one of each. Both socks are quality products and do their job just fine: Protection.

A cheap and effective means of keeping dust and fingerprints off your gun. Not at all bulky, and guns can be stored in these in your safe without scratching the finish against each other. They're also very nice when hunting on an ATV. In our state a gun must be cased when transporting it, even on an ATV. Traditional gun cases are way too bulky to fit into the "prongs" on an ATV gun rack, but these are like "long-johns" for your rifle rather than "coveralls", allowing it to drop right into the run rack and be snugged down. As a result, they do not offer much padded protection but do offer "legal" protection as well as keeping mud and dirt off your firearm, as long as it's not saturated.

I bought this to go on a Remington Fieldmaster rifle with scope that I recently inherited and the bag is labeled Remington; made sense to me! For those that are not familiar with these, they are essentially a very long sock. The item is treated with silicon to protect the weapon from moisture and smells like a gun too. The odor is not an issue and does not extend much beyond the sock in the open. These are ideal for long term storage in or out of a gun safe since it takes little extra space and prevents damage from moisture and inevitalbe dings. You would not want this item if you needed quick access to the weapon but would be better served by a quick opening case or no case at all.

For the money, these gun sacks are really good. Only one thing, they are not intended for AR platform weapons, although, I have managed to get them on with some effort (ARs without optics or long vertical grips). I imagine it would be okay for typical hunting rifle with scope (pictured). So, based on what you are using these for, they may be perfect. For those with AR and Optics, you should get the AR specific ones. I did manage to make it work for the ARs that I do not have vertical grip nor optics. It took some wiggling and inching on.Most likely will not be a quick process to pull off either. The product is good quality and provides good protection for some of your safe queens just be ready to wrestle with it on certain types of rifles.

Even in my file cabinet type gun safe they get house dust on them. Since I only clean them when used they get dusty. This gun sack will keep them clean and also prevent them from touching when moved.

This is made of a denser woven material, it is much better than the flimsy flannel ones. I ordered it for my Mosin, and it fits just fine. The straight bolt can be left in the gun, and the sock just stretches around it with no worry of tearing or failure. Silicone fibers will help protect the guns finish. Says it will fit scoped guns, it might be a little snug on some, but I believe it will fit all of my guns in a pinch. this gets a well deserved 5 - Star rating!!!

Great, cheap and you may as well have a bunch of these. I recommend cutting the drawstring off if used with shorter rifles as it is not entirely necessary and it gets snagged on things often. I highly recommend this product.

PLUTÔT, car c'est simplement le fait qu'avec une crosse typée pistolet (Crosman convertible pistolet/carabine) et une lunette de 50mm, cette "chaussette" s'avère vraiment étroite dans mon cas, elle ne me sert donc plus que pour les accessoires, m'étant fourni une "alen" bcp + extensible. Autre reproche: quand on s'appelle Remington on pourrait faire "l'effort qualitatif" de mettre un bidule sur les cordons pour les serrer...et un de sympa même... Sinon, la couleur (digital camo ,pour info) est sympa.

One size fits all. Will make it easier to put in and take out my gun from the small cabinet I have without banging it on the door frame.Also keeps it protected if left for long periods.

I dont always post reviews, but when I do its because the product is either really good or really bad. This one is really good, I'm buying more of them. I didnt believe it would fit over my large rifle & big scope, but it does ! Worth getting to protect my other guns.

Purchased one to try it out. Ended up buying another two for other guns. Very good product. Well worth the price. Very good delivery too.
