Only laxative that helps my 2 year old poop. He is not a fan but adding this into his vitamin routine every other day does help the process.

My 5 yr old will chew these up no problem!We did Miralax (and generics) for a long time per her pediatrician. The constipation issues were all the time. This product has changed that! She poops everyday, and hasn’t had any tummy aches since. Highly recommend. Her GI specialist has her taking 2 tablets twice daily. SO HAPPY WITH IT!

So the active ingredient here is not the same as Miralax and the like. Some say that works better so we tried it. For our child, it seemed to take at least three to get things moving and even then it was not quick per se or super effective. Thats the downside. I think it could be an ok maintenance drug to keep him regular and moving. And we will use it more for that. Honest, he loves the flavor and asks for it -- which is both good and bad as well. I think you have to find what works for your little person's body and this is close but not a homerun for ours. Great for reluctant pill takers to try though!

Took my son off of these for a week and I had to give him suppositories. He usually chews 2-3 per day and does GREAT pooping (he's 2, he doesn't like to poop so much), but when we ran out and I didn't give him any for a week, it was a disaster. Even supplementing with prunes, fruit juices and raisins didn't help. This stuff works! Sadly, the bottles come with only 30 so at 3/day it gets pricey, but it's worth it.
