Live Freshwater Ramshorn Snails (6 count) from OneStopAquatics.com by Shrimp Haven

I loved these red ramshorn snails. They arrrived 4 days before the estimated shipping. When they arrived I did not know what the package was. Then I opened it, and I found the poor little snails all frozen (it was snowing that day). At first I thought they were dead, but I was hopeful and I placed them in some water from my fish tank. It was at room temp, so i just dropped them in there. And as soon as I dropped them they all started smelling around the fish water. A couple of minutes later poop appeared, and then eggs started to be laid. It has been about 2 weeks or so since they arrived and the tank is full of little egg sacks. The snails are also quite big now. They are in a 5 gallon tank. With a sponge filter. I am just waiting a month until I feed them to my turtles.I would buy again since they are quite adorable. definitely worth the price, and I got 8, 4 were pretty big already, and there were 2 tiny ones, and 2 medium sized ones.Buy these if you want easy pets, or if you want to feed your other animals.

OKAY SOall of them came aliveIt was chilly here so I’m hoping they survive the process after acclimationI got probably around 8 snails maybe 6They’re of various sizes, small do decently big but not HUGEWhich is great it means they’re not old and won’t die fast from old age.Didn’t smellThe ONLY thing I think should be different,Is a note thanking us for buying from them, or some curiosity note or a mossball with them to help them stay aliveOther than that, it came in a double bagged plastic baggie with a little water inside a small box. Might want to add fragile to the package as it can get throw around. All over good product and I’ll update in a week or so with how many snails survived!

Snails arrived well and intact as expected from the seller. They were packaged in a small cardboard box about 2"×2"×3" and were inside a of a little plastic condiment type cup surrounded in appropriately dampened paper towel. The little plastic container was cushioned by newspaper. As a nice bonus, this little card was included, which is perfect as I was looking at purchasing shrimp soon too (shrimp love Cholla wood). Would absolutely buy from seller again. Snails are doing great in my aquarium. Thank you!

I ordered these critters for my kindergarten class to observe and compare them to land snails.I didn't receive the usual Amazon Delivery notice, but we're at home, so I've been checking the mailbox daily.They must be pretty hardy. The poor guys were shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. They were placed in a Great Value ziploc bag with a wet paper towel. I thought a few were dead, and was worried that they'd gotten too warm, BUT after a few hours cooling and placed into the tank, they were ALL ALIVE!!So - Our kindergarten investigation will continue on! :)

I had some issues occur with my order however when I worked with the seller they promptly responded to me and bent over backwards to fix the issue. Their customer service impressed me. I was a little bit excited to get these snails since I haven't cared for this type before. They were going into a ten gallon that I'd set up recently and had a lot of algae growth. Now not every snail looks exactly like the one shown but they range from brownish to the red/pink foot/body. All of the shells are a cute little rams horn. They were a little slow to get to moving but the got more active as they were drip acclimated. Every one of them were alive and health and still are. In fact they were so happy they've already laid a few egg clusters!!!!Thanks

I actually thought the 5 or so that I'd bought died out pretty quickly but the next thing I know, they're everywhere. That's cool with me because I had a few other tanks that needed some, too. I don't worry much about overpopulation because if there's not sustenance to keep them going, they die off until you have a reasonable colony. They're not great algae eaters but the sheer number of them makes them very useful.

Great for the money, I had an extra one in the bag and they all arrived alive, shipping does take a while but it’s well packaged, it’s been a week or so and already I have egg sacs on the sides of my turtle aquarium, I’m sure the population is about to explode! Worth the money especially for feeding other pets

Arrived in a pretty scrappy setup but all but 1 snails lived. Package did arrive later than expected but would buy again given the price
