Not waterproof

It is thin material and not waterproof at all. I bought this to take on our canoeing trips. First time I used it I accidentally dropped it getting out of canoe and it submerged. EVERYTHING was wet. So as long as your not near water it is a good back pack just dont get one for water trips.
