I bought this to have a variety of tools on hand for opening laptops and other electronics. I didn't need the screw drivers that other sellers bundled with their sets.The tweezers are great quality with tips that are aligned. The tips are smooth so have a reduced grip but also won't mar/scratch. They work great for pulling screws and dust bunnies from tight areas. The ruler and knife are ok quality with slightly sharp edges (not just the knife blade - hah!) but are a handy bonus. The plastic tool quality is decent for light to moderate use. I've used them multiple times. The plastic is sturdy, yet pliable enough to not break plastic tabs/clips or leave marks on plastic and lighter-weight metal frames. I've used the tools multiple times. For heavy duty prying (electronics with strong adhesive and metal tabs), these are probably single use. The set includes duplicates for those that want to channel their inner gorilla and tear into a project.

I am an amateur repairer. I fix my own Ipod and 3rd Gen Kindle and have replaced the screen on my s5 3 times now. I needed to upgrade my spudger collection and have wanted some metal ones for a while now, as the plastic ones are easily destroyed. I adore the fine pointed tweezers, they make peeling the backing off double-faced tape so easy! Yes, the points are very fine and easily bent but you shouldn't necessarily be prying with them anyway, that's what the metal spudgers are for! Like others have said, I don't really have a need for the ruler, but the amount of other useful tools you get make it worth it to buy the kit anyway. I haven't used the suction cup to remove a screen yet so I can't rate that. All my screens have been off the item before I even bought this kit. I highly recommend it and the value for the amount you get is great.

This kit has a lot of tools that make life easier when working with modern devices. But I have found that the little blue guitar pick looking thingies don't work too well and gets ruined, but an actual guitar pick does. The little blue spudger also doesn't work too well and become ruined easily. An expired gift card or drivers license or customer reward card works well too. Needless to say, these are my least favorite pieces in this kit.My favorite pieces in this kit are the metal spudgers. These work well in any situation where you would normally pull a butter knife out to use as a tool.There are a couple of tweezer tools, an exacto style knife, and a thin metal ruler. There is a suction cup which does have a lot of strength. Also comes with an assortment of plastic picks, rods which may be useful but without an instruction manual showing what each is designed for, they may be very beneficial and I would get more value from this kit.

No quality issues detected, been using the same kit for years

I ordered this to open and clean a keyboard. Very impressed with the quality of the tools and everything about this kit. If you work on electronics or any craft stuff even, this is a great kit to have. It’s durable and as long as I don’t lose any part of I doubt I’ll ever need to replace anything. Very happy with this purchase.

So far so good. My favorite tools in the kit so far:1. Metal spatulas / spudgers. These are great for opening plastic PCs or Chromebooks.2. METAL tweezers. I was super surprised that they were so sturdy3. Suction cup works well for replacing touch screens on Chromebooks.4. Nylon probe tools / Spudgers are not too bad either.The plastic tools of course are just plastic. Over the time of a few uses they may need to be replaced. I think the metal ruler is a little out of place in this kit. Not sure I'll ever use it. The other plastic tools I have not yet used, but might come helpful in some situations.

I used this to repair a phone. It worked perfectly fine, but the plastics came out a bit damaged after my first use. However, I could probably repair around 10 phones before this set it completely unusable. For me, for the price, that's worth it.If you plan on using them consistently for business or as a repair tech, I would buy elsewhere.

It has been very handy, but these tools do get worn and break over time. I decided to look for a replacement kit, and saw this tool set. Some of the pieces are exactly the same as the ones in my iFixit kit, but I'm getting charged much less for them here. While I haven't used it to repair a phone (yet), I have used these tools to open my laptop and repair it. It's very handy and convenient and I definitely recommend it.
