The package arrived a few days before the scheduled delivery. Overall the assembly was simple except the mislabeled left and right arm rest. Quality assurance could be better. The chair is comfortable and reclines back like an office desk chair. I'm 6'1", 165lbs. The ottoman is convenient because my legs do not hang off like a traditional recliner. At the moment I'm pleased with the purchase.

The title is a lie this chair cannot sit 90°, you're always leaned back and if u sit up you won't have the back support you'd need to be in front of a PC OR DESK

This chair arrived with two right arms and no left arm in a box that was clearly repackaged. I didn't want to return the entire chair and only wanted a left arm sent to me. When I called the manufacturer's phone number (provided by Amazon), the call was answered by a small company rep who said it doesn't have anything to do with JC Home. I've emailed the manufacturer (email on instructions), however, I've received no response. I ordered another chair that arrived with all parts and wanted to just reorder another one but when I reordered it through the Amazon "Buy it Again", the price went from $199.77 to $327.54.

Very comfortable! Thorough install required

If you aren't stubborn about assembling stuff you will regret this chair. It was a gigantic pain, very difficult and incited plenty of swearing.Now that it's assembled it's actually really good in the game room. It's comfortable and I prefer a footstool over something like a recliner that has the pop out foot support. You can change the amount of resistance so it's either easy or more difficult to recline. You can also lock it in a reclined position that way if you need. It definitely doesn't look high end or anything but it's well suited for a game room or something.

Not a massage chair as clearly shown in the picture descriptions. The chair was impossible for me to put together by myself, so I had my husband do it. The pieces were so hard to squeeze together and the arm rests were close to impossible. We finally got it after a power struggle. It's still a nice chair and the movable footrest is a nice feature. I wouldn't purchase again though because of the difficulty to assemble.

Very good quality. The leather is nice and soft. This chair is very comfortable. The ottoman is just right. I like that it comes in black. I’m using it as a desk chair and having the ottoman near by for when I just want to relax and watch tv. It is heavy but that just means it’s very sturdy. It’s made my Amazon so they’re gonna make sure it’s good and it is: Recommend!

Skipping to the end of the story, this is a comfortable chair to sit in but it doesn’t seem worth $400.When I ordered the chair, I saw the remote in the picture showing various levels of heat and massage and was really excited to order it. Unfortunately, the chair is not a massage chair. This isn’t the first chair I’ve received from JC Home that was not as advertised so I can’t say I was shocked.Unfortunately, the chair was nearly impossible to assemble. The seat of the chair fits between the arms and there wasn’t enough room for them to fit easily. It took nearly all my strength to pull it wide enough to get the back of the seat to fit. I had similar issue with trying to install one of the arm wrests. After about 8 attempts and some help from my son I was able to get the last bolt in. The other arm wrest went in quickly and easily. Overall assembly should have been easy and take about 10 minutes. It ended up being about an hour or frustration.Overall very disappointed with “JC HOME Leather Air Swiveling Recliner,Powder Coating Base with Cover and Matching Ottoman, Black“. I would not recommend it for any price and certainly not for the $400 it is currently listed for. Generally I would reach out to a manufacturer with issues like this but I found them to be completely unresponsive in previous issues so I wasn’t going to add to my frustration by trying again.
