I have tried all 3 beard oils that Viking Revolutions has to offer. Like the other 2, it does a wonderful job of keeping one's beard soft and moisturized, along with moisturizing the skin underneath. Of the 3 oils, this has the lightest scent. The scent is detectable, but only with those who are literally face-to-face with you. This oil's scent may mingle with one's cologne or aftershave, but, again, only at close proximity. Definitely the best choice for those who don't care about scent or prefer as little scent as possible.My wife and I like all 3 oils. But, of the 3 beard oils' scents, this is my least favorite due to how.light the scent is and not the scent itself. The scent is great, but you'll be the only one to enjoy it, for the most part.

I'll start by saying the basics. This beard oil is great, it does what it's supposed to do, and you won't be disappointed.Now depending on how familiar you are with certain plants or essential oils, this scent (Clary Sage) may have you a bit concerned. Some people find the smell offensive while others find a nice flowery lavender scent. I can tell you that it smells great. To be honest upon opening I got hints a fruit loops. As I got it in hand and on beard, the scent was more like the sage I'm used to, still a bit of fruit but mostly a nice fresh smell (if you're worried about it being too fruity, it's not it's just a faint fruit smell that I pick up). The smell doesn't last a long time which could be a plus or minus. You might get a whiff every now and then but after the first 10 minutes it's sort of fades into the background.Overall, it's really great and you should give it a shot.

If you don't have the Clary Sage Balm yet stop reading and buy it now!Ok; now that's done let's talk about the beard oil. It's oil..... for your beard. Softens even boar-like follicles; I should know. I use this in combination with a wax and balm regimen. I'll usually use wax and oil together on work days, Balm before bed, balm in the morning on days off and oil mid-day.The only thing that I don't like about this product is: NO CLARY SAGE WAX YET!!!??? I've got the citrus and sandalwood waxes in addition to the balm and oil. Because I have matching scents that set lives at work. Sadly, Clary Sage is relegated to being an off-day only scent =( Tis a pity, because this scent is much more pleasant than the sandalwood and by far the best Viking offers.

I ordered Viking Revolution unscented beard oil. Loved it and what it did for my beard. Wanted to try some oil with a fragrence. Took a flier on the VR Clary Sage beard oil. Not sure why. I never heard of clary sage. Good news, more then meets my expectations.The clary sage is a subtle fragrence, starts off slightly flowery, I am going to say a light lavender. Do not worry, lavender flower notes disappears, you are left with a nice earthy wooden scent. It is an elegant and subdued fragrence.The Viking Revolution beard oil is great product. If have a beard, you want to try this. The clary sage fragrance is almost guaranteed to please.

Best beard oil available. I've tried many..many...many! Scent is absolutely amazing. Product works as intended. Feels good on skin and best of all the customer support is on point. Had an issue with the top leaking a bit and lost some oil. Reached out to support just to let them know, not really expecting much. A week later they sent me a new bottle.
