Strength-to-diameter is great, and the color is as advertised
Strength-to-diameter is great, and the color is as advertised. I've used it for many outdoor tasks and it stands up well. Be aware that you have to be very careful with your knot choice as some knots will not hold well with this cord. Experiment and observe what is and isn't working with your particular rigging. For example, a simple bowline if left without any tension on the loop will open up and come apart, but a figure eight on a bight loop will hold beautifully. Basically knots that aren't necessarily designed to be untied easily will perform while knots that are noteworthy for their ability to be untied may not be dependable. For many of us this will require a change of mindset when selecting a knot to fulfill a particular task.

Very versatile product!
Excellent strong cord for many various craft projects. Made in the USA! I use this 1.18mm micro-cord to weave into 550 para-cord bracelets as a way of making more unique designs. I also keep a hundred or so feet in my emergency kits. I've even used it to make an emergency seam repair on a backpack while camping, and it's still holding years later! It would also be great for making wind chimes and dream catchers, or any other application where strength versus weight is important. The "gecko" pattern goes great with black and hunter green para-cord colors.Cord comes on a small black plastic spool about the size of a silver dollar, so it doesn't take up much space at all, and Atwood rope has a great selection of colors to choose from. It has a 100 pound test strength. It is rot, UV, and mildew resistant, and the colors will not run or bleed.

Atwood microcord - good product
This is typical microcord produced by Atwood Rope Manufacturing Company - good quality, bright colors, and strong. No surprises. Microcord was shipped quickly and came on a black 2 1/8” diameter spool.I use this 1.18mm size cord along with the standard and thicker 550 paracord to make zipper-pulls and other paracord items. See attached photos.I recommend Atwood Co. microcord for your paracord tying projects.

Burnt Orange I received is not whats pictured
Just received my burnt orange cord, it is not the same as the brown tan or black I have from the same manufacturer. Its about 1/3rd the thickness and tensile strength, says 36lbs on the spool. Also its 300 feet instead of 125 like the others. Also the color is much brighter in color than it looks in the pics. Not sure if they screwed up or are just hoping people won't notice. I noticed

Good Cord For The Right Tasks
This is very nice, strong, light cord for light duty around the camp. I used it as a ridgeline on my tarp and it performed admirably - better than the mason's line I was using for the same task. I can even see myself trying this as guy lines on an ultralight tent - though that could be pushing it a bit - I'm not sure. I use it any time I need a strong, quite thin, light cord. If your expectations are correctly set it's great stuff. If you want to lash a raft together, this ain't what you want.

Awesome Little Cord
Bright, strong, thin. This little cord is perfect for lanyards or even as safety cord for equipment. I hung on it and couldn't brake it ... not the most scientific but meets my Duh standard. Didn't really need 125 ft of it but now I have it. Recommend that you melt the ends quickly to stop fraying.

Color is different
It's good quality but the photo of the dark green color is inaccurate. I wanted a specific color and what it turned out to be is a dark pine color, not a teal like the photo shows.

Excellent road
This is an excellent rope that is strong and small. I carry it lots day hiking and backpacking. It's very light and easy to lug around. I have many feet and type of paracords that I love but paracord is overkill for most of my cordage requirements.

Tiny and strong
It is far smaller, thinner than expected, so my first application is out, but a dozen more are added. It’s in my camping pack and the few tie-up jobs already done with it are holding strong and tight. Hold a know well, no slip.
