OEM Part
This is the correct o’ring for the penn plax aquarium pump. It fits between the pump head and the tank of the pump correctly. It has a similar square shape like the oem part and seals correctly. I would suggest that owners check for imperfections on the plastic mating surfaces before reassembly. Great part.

Works great!
Always place a catch under unit in case of leak - To test seal, shut off pump and let set to test for if electricity shuts off.Index lid and replace in same position, make sure no sand or gravel is on seal. Test whenever cleaned. Do not put anything on seal when replaced.

Perfect fit
It was a perfect fit I recommend that for anybody who has a Casccade canister filter because after a while it do start to leak
