An Excellent Sodium-Free Alternative Seasoning
For some odd reason, potassium chloride salt is hard to find in the stores around where I live. I did have some Morton's No-Salt, and the shaker was close to being empty, so I thought I would try Amazon. I was about to buy a 6-pack of Morton's when I saw NoSalt, and decided to try it instead, as the price was a bit better.I use this salt not because I want to cut down on sodium, but because I want to increase my intake of potassium. If I am cooking something, I use regular sodium chloride salt. However, it's NoSalt that I reach for when at the dinner table. I also use this as an electrolyte balancing water, especially after working out in the yard.So how does this compare to the Morton's? They are virtually the same, but the taste of the NoSalt is perhaps a tiny bit better. Keep in mind that the taste is not quite the same as sodium chloride, but it's a nice "salty" taste. If you are looking for a sodium alternative, or if you would like a type of potassium supplement, I do recommend NoSalt.

Great for sodium intake control in your diet
Used this for more than a decade. No bad effects at all. Helps keep me from taking more medication to control my blood pressure. Tastes just like sodium salt and works just like it in recipes. I use this in baking anything including bread, pizza crusts and other baked goods. You use the same amount as sodium salt in a recipe! Your body needs twice as much potassium as sodium but most prepared foods have twice to 3 or 4 times as much sodium over potassium. Manufacturers use sodium to make foods with little flavor taste much better. Ask yourself which is better, real flavor or more sodium?

better than salt!!
I am on a low sodium diet and have used this product for over fifteen years. I love it. It has a great taste and pours and "salts" just like salt does. My husband recently decided to go low-sodium due to the FDA's new low sodium guidelines and he switched to No-Salt at the table and he can't tell the difference except that his hands don't swell up the next morning. I love being able to use No-Salt on popcorn and not have to worry about the impact on my heart or circulatory system. It may not taste exactly like salt initially but overall, it is an excellent substitute. It is definitely the best one out there. It is the best bargain AND the best to feel and taste like salt. Once you have changed over to this product, you won't have a problem staying with it.

Impossible to find in stores locally
I checked every store in the area and was unable to find this product. I've been using it for years. As with other salt replacements, you need to develop a taste for the replacement as it has a different flavor than regular salt, but satisfies a craving for regular salt. These are a bit pricey, but worth it if you're on a salt restricted diet and find this to be a good substitute. I was quite pleased to find it.

it's a good one for a good price
It's decent. If potassium salts are what you're looking for, it's a good one for a good price. I think they're mostly all the same. It pours smoothly, doesn't cake. Doesn't taste awesome either, but then again, potassium salt doesn't. Sodium tastes so much better! Unfortunately, sodium does not like me, so I have to avoid it and supplement with potassium. If you are the same, then yes I would recommend this product. Just wish it tasted a little yummier... ;)

In My Opinion, The Best Salt Substitute!! A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words!!
Just look at how unusual the packaging is! Long ago, salt was so valuable that the word salary came from the word for salt. You know the old superstition about throwing a few grains of spilled salt over your shoulder to hit the devil in the face since he made you spill it? Good thing that’s not applicable to spilled salt substitute. Or is it? If it is, the devil made them do it.

So happy I tried it!
I like that I can have the salt taste without worrying about my blood pressure rising to an unhealthy level my husband didn't even know we switched so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying to avoid consuming sodium.

Pleasantly surprised helps with low potassium condition
I am on some diuretic drugs that cause low potassium. I needed to both reduce salt intake and boost potassium so in researching I chose this product which I have used in place of all salt including baking cookies with it so far. I put this in water to lower the boiling point and add flavor to things like rice, broccoli, etc. and my last blood test (taken every 6 weeks) was the first to be in the normal although (low normal) range for potassium. So augmenting my diet which is the only thing I have done with both this and taking a daily potassium supplement has clearly made a difference. That is great because I love to salt things and to me it pretty much tastes the same with this as regular salt. No difference I can't accept for the health benefits of salt reduction and potassium increase. As long as you don't have a health condition where additional potassium is bad for you this is probably a good solution for anyone wanting to reduce their salt intake.
