SONY Waterproof and dustproof Walkman with Bluetooth Wireless Technology NW-WS623 (Blue)

I use the Walkman for my swimming workouts - 1 hr a day 5x a week. I charge the device every night. The sound is great in the water and out. For the device to be more comfortable, it would need a softer rubber layer on the areas that are closest to the ears. I am pleased with this product and have reccomend it to friends.

1. Charging module is worthless design, as it is the only way to charge. NO micro USB charging.2. Will not work with APPLE/MAC seamlessly. NO support with downloaded music transfer AP.3. Very tight fit, adjustment helps, but long-term use not desirable.4. Because music couldn't be downloaded, no swim test, but earbuds disturb music sound quality.5. Several attempts to pair with iphone were not successful. Disappointed by pairing issues.6. Very disappointed by Sony lack of online/manual support and overall poor quality of product.7. I purchased from Phototech USED. I would never spend $109. on a pair.8. IN short, the industry is a complete and utter failure when it comes to a simple designed MP3 / bluetooth headset, never mind the swimming, just manufacturer a pair that works with great sound.

I am surprised the other reviews are so low! First, I hate earbuds. For me, they never stay in. So I always look for headphones that go around my neck and aren't just earbuds. These stay in and are comfortable, and unlike earbuds, cannot fall out. I think the sound quality is good. I only use them running and for casual use--I have never swam with them so I cannot speak to that. I did have to read the directions to use them and to switch to the bluetooth mode; they were not so intuitive for me that I could avoid reading directions, but once I did, very easy to use. I do wish I got more warning about the battery. So far, my experience has been that I get a "battery is low" warning and then the headphones immediately die. I wish I'd have more warning. But yeah, these work great. My one issue now: I've misplaced the charger and I'm not sure if I can but just the charger.

Ordered these a few years ago and they worked great, both underwater and with bluetooth while running. Somehow in my moving process, they've either been stolen or misplaced. I went to my order on Amazon and simply re-ordered the exact order. Uploaded songs to the new pair...worked just fine underwater. Of course after the 30 day return policy do I realize that THERE IS NO BLUETOOTH. Called SONY customer service and they state that this model does not have bluetooth even though in the headline of this order it states they do. I would suggest ordering straight from SONY webiste to ensure you're getting the exact product. Since I ordered from Amazon there was nothing I could do...EVEN though it was the SONY store on AMAZON?

have been waiting for sony to release this for years. this is the perfect companion for active people. very light, comfortable and wireless, can act as mp3 player or bluetooth connected to my apple watch (or phone). waterproof and dustproof. clear sound, also pretty good noise cancellation. love it

I bought these from PHOTOTECH thinking I was getting everything but the box was open and there was so much missing. No silicone ear-tips, no charging cable, no instructions, and no silicone comfort band for the back. I also tried trouble shooting so so soooooo many different ways and times but unfortunately I was unable to even pair it to my phone. There was music already on the device and even following Sony's official way to factory reset the headphones, I was unsuccessful. I will be sending the ones I got from PHOTOTECH back and ordering new ones like I probably should have in the 1st place. PHOTOTECH did NOT advertise that there would be missing parts and issues so this was definitely not good.

Its great for running at the beach. Grab and go with minimal hassle. Plus I can take calls on it and get audio from my cell or iPad.
