The instructions were clear and the rack came with the correct size of wrenches for the installation. Installation tip: It’s a good idea to keep everything a little loose until the rack is mostly installed and then tighten up but the one thing I would do differently the next time I install one of these is tighten the holders for the bars that attach below the seat to the seat tube. They slip too much and everything falls apart. If you tighten those a bit the install is a breeze. I love that every installation point is adjustable on this. My son’s bike is not very typical and this carrier fit perfectly because it was so adjustable. Now his little brother wants one for his bike. I hope Amazon gets these back in stock so we can order another. The bonus net is going to be super helpful for when my son goes on bike camping trips and needs to carry his tent and other gear. The rack feels really sturdy and is a great value! I only buy aluminum bike components because we live in a humid climate and the aluminum holds up so much better.

It took me almost 2 hours to install the rack. The wrench provided was too large for the nut. My bike has rear disc brake and the mounting was obstructed. I had to workaround just to secure the rack to the bike frame. Not sure if it will be sturdy enough, let's see.

If you have a mountain bike with a lot of gears it may be hard to fit on. It took a lot of efbut but I got the screw in on the gear side, but can't use the last gear as the screw will hit the chain.

The media could not be loaded. I like the fact that the rack has additional support for panniers. mounted to my Aventon pace 500.3 with no problems. All the hardware that I needed was included. I had to make no modification. This is very easy. Let me be clear. This rack fits a Aventon pace 500.3. Solid heavy duty rack. Great price !
