"Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence for her shoe." Queen Elizbeth II is England's longest reigning monarch. This 1953 coin was her first coin. Each coin will arrive on a descriptive card that includes the history of the sixpence coin.

Beautiful bit of history
Love it! I needed a sixpence for my wedding day, and I love the design and packaging of this one. Definitely something I can keep and pass down to others

This was elegant and honors a great message, a great lady
I bought two of them to give to a niece and a grandson, both getting married this year. I wanted something special as a remembrance and to pass on to their own some day. This was elegant and honors a great message, a great lady, a legacy.

A thoughtful gift
The sixpence in the shoe is an old tradition. We recently gave this to a friend and she said she was really pleased. She and her father were unfamiliar with the practice. Whether she'll put it in her shoe is unknown yet.

Not the quality I expected
The card stock used was not great quality. The photo of the Queen was placed rather high up on the card. “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - a lucky sixpence for your shoe” was not on the card which I found disappointing. I will add this myself. Overall, not what I had hoped for.
