CHRISTOW Parasol Base Granite 22kg Round Garden Umbrella Stand Holder Weight (35mm, 38mm, 48mm Adaptor)

Again like my search for a parasol, it took a while. Wanted one that was not huge but had enough weight to hold the parasol and I could lift it . Another point was that it would not mark my porcelain pavers if I had to slide it. Its 22kg weigh and has 4 rubber protectors on the base, the 2 cut outs underneath mean you can get your hands easily positioned to lift it.Third point was colour that it would go with our light and dark grey theme , it does. When delivered the courier must have had the box stood on it's end and not flat , it had caused the base to press and put a dent in the parasol holder. I rang the supplier who guided me to raise a report on Amazon , I requested a replacement chrome holder instead of a return and 're order of all. The supplier sent one out straight away by courier , and I received it the next day. First class customer service and response.Perfect base for what we wanted , much better than a concrete or metal one .

Fantastic parasol base to complement your entertaining space. Easy to fit if you have a 19bit socket and wrench. Make sure you can fasten it tight. You will benefit in the long run. Love it and so pleased to have it ahead of my new place.

We used this for a large parasol where we needed extra shade in another part of our patio separate to the one with our table. It's so pretty and is a nice heavy weight and has two like dipped out bits underneath to use as handles which made it easy to manoeuvre about, once your parasol is set inside. There is no spin so far which is fab. There is one down fall though the pole seems a little wiggly but I think this is due to the screw on the bottom not being tight enough. It would be great if the company could send a tool for doing this . I'm hoping my husband can find some thing to do this. A really big shout out to the delivery driver who was concerned on giving it to me due to its weight. So he placed it somewhere for me until my husband was home to move it where I wanted it.

The metal tube that holds the parasol arrived damaged when I opened the box. I got in touch with Christows right away and they sent me another tube which arrived the other day. The granite base looks lovely and has a good weight on it which will hold the parasol well when there is a breeze.

Great stand. Really heavy looks like marble not too large . Worth the money and kept umbrella up in the wind!
