Awesome way to stand doors up and to finish them

My painter has tried different methods for painting doors and cabinets, and this Erecta-rack tool is hands down the best way to get the job done. This provides only one setup for sanding and spraying, and having the doors elevated off the floor during this process is a huge benefit and time-saver. Highly recommend!

Okay, it cost what it cost and that’s fine as I think the idea is awesome but I did have some collapsing doors (twice). Mainly my fault but if they just had a top that screwed down over the green slat the issue would be resolved. Otherwise the whole concept in general is genius. Get them off the ground and don’t forget to buy screws (another strange thing to have to buy for the total cost of the item)

This is the worst door hanging system I've seen. There is nothing to keep the brackets from popping up and doors falling over. This product should not even be sold until that's resolved. Thankfully I can return this piece of garbage.

Time saver recommended

I had no idea these existed, but I'm so glad I found them! I was re-finishing one of our doors, and I needed something to rack the door for painting. When I found these, I knew I had to get them. They work perfectly so I'm not wasting time with during dry time, and they hold up very well. Nice and heavy duty, easy to use, and such a great idea!

Good product worked well, the only thing I would suggest is a way to keep the green pieces locked down. If you just set them and don’t work on the doors they are fine, but any movement or vibration will make the green things come off and the doors will fall. I put some tape on the top to hold them down, it didn’t need much to keep them on.

We build houses... and flip houses between new builds. I've painted too many doors to count. Before buying this erecta-rack system, I used pieces of 3 inch trim and my 18 gauge nailer to nail the trim to the tops of the doors... same idea as this erecta-rack... just not as good. The real problem with my old method was the doors were set up facing each other ... like dominos.... and that always caused problems with too little room between the doors and sometimes the spray would get a little too heavy... and in low light situations I couldn't see if there were runs in the paint.This system allows me to space the doors out more of a length wise layout... with the doors facing me instead of facing each other. SO MUCH EASIER and faster. No low light shadowing, no dragging the painter hose trying to weave in between the doors... my old way created so many problems.SO HAPPY I found this system. If you paint houses... you need this door racking system. We already ordered more sets after the first use! A real time saver!
