This may be on the pricey side, but my god, it is a great product! It smells amazing too. A little goes a long way, and my skin looks incredible after I use it. My sensitive skin loves it

First thing I noted with this was whilst it states it's an anti-ageing serum on Amazon, the packaging actually states to use this before a serum and moisturiser. Now I find that a bit overkill, and after the first use I stopped using a serum alongside it. It wasn't needed as I got great results from just using this alone.That being said, it's very serum like, quite runny. It comes in a beautiful bottle, for the price it is very nice packaging. However, getting the product out is a bit awkward. It's not a pump bottle so I have to tilt it upside down to get 2-3 drops out, and it takes just a little while for the product to come out.The serum itself smells amazing! The packaging states to apply to hands and take a moment to take in the scent before applying. I then rub it gently into my face. It does absorb quickly, but I also find it quite sticky. However despite the sticky feeling, my moisturiser goes on well on top of this and my skin is left feeling lovely and soft.After only a couple of days using this I have noticed a big difference in my skin! It feels very smooth and soft, and fine lines do appear visibly smoother. I don't think I've come across such a nice skin care product before, despite using various serums and moisturisers for years. Bad for me though as this is not cheap, however I find it very worth it!

At an RRP of £42 for 100mls, the price can be a bit eye-watering at first, but my wife assures me you need only two or three drops at a time, so it would appear this is potentially good value after all!Neals Yard recommends using this product after cleansing and before applying a serum and moisturising to lock in moisture and help smooth out fine lines. My wife likes the way it is absorbed into the skin quickly. The smell is not too overpowering but definitely doesn’t smell much of frankincense. We can only smell the bitter orange in it, which is a bit disappointing, as frankincense is one of our favourite scents. My wife has sensitive skin and this causes no aggravation; in fact, it's calming and provides a more even skin tone. She's tried many products from all sorts of brands in the past, most of which have failed to deliver, but this looks promising and she will continue using it.To give a fair review, you really need to use a product like this for a couple of months, but Neals Yard research claims that users have reported good improvements in their skin after just a week or two. My wife has been using this for four days and really likes it.We're removing one point for difficulty dispensing the product. It's lovely to get things in glass bottles, but it makes getting the product out tricky. A simple workaround would be a pump dispenser. When you're paying a bigger price, every last drop counts!Also, the directions are a bit misleading. It’s suggested you add a few drops to the palms of your hands, then use your fingertips to glide and pat over the face. The oil, is in fact, quite ‘tacky’, so once it’s in the palm of your hands, you can’t really move it to your fingertips. And it’s not really possible to ‘glide’ it. It works better to either pat over the face using your palms (not easy around the eyes), or apply it from the bottle direct to your fingertips and then tap in with the fingertips. Otherwise, we can see that most of the oil will just stay stuck on your palms. You’ll probably end up with lovely soft hands, but this isn’t the intention of the product!If the packaging could be changed to make it easier to dispense, and the scent could be adjusted to provide more frankincense and less bitter orange, this would be a five-star product.

I have combination skin which is very oily on the T-zone (especially during the summer) and dry and sensitive on the cheeks. I have got to the age where I will apply serum after toner to improve the condition of my skin, especially to hydrate and tighten it.This is actually my first time using this brand, and I am very happy with it. First of all, the scent is great. it's organic with nice ingredient so I feel safer to try it on my skin. Secondly, I could feel it hydrates my skin well without leaving my skin feeling sticky. I could feel my T-zone gets less oily (which also means my skin is getting hydrated) so I am happy with it.The only thing is it is slightly hard to get the serum out. Although about 2 to 3 blobs of the serum is sufficient for the whole face and neck, I prefer the pump type than having to shake the bottle.Apart from the bottle design, the quality of the product is great and I am consider trying their other products as well.

Smells beautiful and is light and absorbs well, however, after using for some time now I can see no visible benefit, it certainly doesn't seem to deliver enough moisture. I'll use it up as the smell is lovely but I won't buy again.

After trying this Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense IntenseTM Hydrating Essence i can see why. Oh my gosh it smells amazing and the smell lingers nicely too. I have had compliments on how i smell even when i've only used this to moisturise my face.This is amazing at moisturising / hydrating my skin. It's a large bottle too and i only need to use a tiny few dabs / drops to get full coverage over my face. It doesn't feel or look greasy and my skin feels better the moment i put this on. This bottle will last a long time!I like to use this after i've washed my face with products to treat my open pores and spots. Before using this i'd often get dry skin or dry skin patches from using spot treatments. Since using this afterwards i haven't had any dry skin or dry skin patches. It's amazing.It leaves my skin looking smoother and more radiant. I don't always wear makeup and now i'm less inclined to because this product has given me a confidence boost.Absolutely love this stuff, smells amazing and performs it too!
