Lullaby: New Adult Epic Fantasy Paranormal Romance with Young Adult Appeal: 1 (Morpheus: Greek God of Dreams) Paperback

This was an excellent find. The best part was that though it was a romance, it had a more in depth story line with humour interwoven very skilfully.I very thoroughly enjoyed the book. In fact I got so engrossed, that I didn't stop reading till it was over.

Have you read this series yet?Lullaby is the first book from the Sand Maiden Series and I must say it's a very different kinda fantasy. I should give you trigger warnings for violence and torture right away. This is an adult fantasy-romance, which is a bit different than the books I generally pick up. But nevertheless enjoyed reading and exploring this whimsy dark fantasy.Alissandra, an immortal Sand Maiden, a dream-weaver, has spent her entire life weaving dreams for humans. She exists in the Dream realm and is the daughter of the God of Dreams, Morpheus. She's also in love with Kovis Altarin, a powerful sorcerer who happens to be the Prince of the Altarin Empire. She used to weave his dreams while he slept at night. But her world turns upside down when she finds out that her father is exploiting his power to weave dreams in order to control the humankind. When Ali confronts Morpheus, he attacks her in blinding rage and she's forced to flee the dream realm into the Wake Realm, where her father can't find her. But it's not just Morpheus who she needs to run from. While fleeing from the dream realm she ended up in Kovis's place in an unresponsive state. I loved this story. It was a passionate and unusual New Adult book. Although the title page says its book 2, It really is book 1. This is the first book I have read by L. R. W. Lee and it looks like he (she?) has written many. Mostly YA books about fantasy. This fantasy book was well written and engaging with great world world building. It was also fast paced and exciting.

I LOVED this book - Ali is such a delightful character. The story flows well,the romance isn't forced or rushed and I am so looking forward to the next book!

I read this dory after reading Rock a Bye Baby. I didn't realize this was the first in a series ax it works well as a second! Nice story line, good characterization.

This series is very interesting and unlike what I have ever seen before. A big plus is also how the author really cares about her readers and is very easily approachable.And just look at the cover! It's gorgeous!

I couldn't put this book down!! Having never read any of the authors books before I was unsure what to expect, but she did not disappoint. The plot has you hooked from beginning to end and leaves you wanting more......which is coming.......I had to ask her because I needed to know how long I was going to have to wait :)I am so looking forward to learning more about the characters and what is going to happen to wake realm in the next books.Also the cover art is gorgeous and definitely made me want to read the book more!Anybody that loves the likes of Sarah j Maas should definitely give this blossoming series a go and I'm sure you will love it just as much as I did.
