I bought this necklace just for fun. A number of years ago I had a red amber necklace and the dye rubbed off so I was hesitant to buy another dyed amber necklace. Amber does not come in the colors of this dark blue,ruby red or the apple green that have become popular lately, but it's fun to have many colors. It was the bad review that actually decided me to take a chance on this necklace. In that review the color came off and the bead softened and became sticky when exposed to a lotion she wore. I would recommend she use a less caustic lotion! yes, amber will soften when exposed to certain chemicals as well as heat, but plastics do not soften. But to make sure, I gave this necklace the saltwater test and it passed with flying color blue! You can be 99.99% sure this is amber and not plastic. How well the dye holds up remains to be seen. Meantime, it looks snazzy worn along side my lemon amber!

I previously had a dark cherry amber necklace that I had bought from the brand Hazelaid. I wore it almost everyday for over 10 years before the closure bead fell off. I was going to order the same one again, but then I found this blue amber and decided to get it instead. It's a beautiful necklace, and seemed to be exactly like my old one, just blue.BUT I have been wearing it for almost 2 months, and I just went to put it back on and realized the closure bead has cracked and broken, so I can no longer wear it. That's really disappointing, and extra sucks cause I only had 30 days to return or exchange it and can't find anyway to discuss a replacement with the actual store. If it hadn't broke I would have given them 5 stars.Now I guess I am going to have to either try to fix it or buy another new one. But seriously 10 years compared to 2 months really sucks. If I buy another one I will definitely go through Hazelaid instead of this company again.Edit: I kept wearing the necklace after my first review. I was able to get the closure bead to say closed. But then today I noticed a few beads we soft and sticky. When I took it off and looked closer a few of the beads have a blue outter layer that was starting to dissolve, melt, or disintegrate. I think a lotion I used may have gotten on the necklace, which was never a problem in the past with my other amber jewelry. When I wiped off and cleaned the beads the entire blue color came off and you can tell they are plastic beads, NOT real amber. Real amber wouldn't start to melt like that. I am so disappointed.

Its nice but I wish the beads are bigger and the chain longer.

Absolutely beautiful blue amber necklace. Just as pictured. I gave it as a gift to my wife and she loved it! The box is perfect for a gift. The necklace is really well made. The shipment was real quick and overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This necklace is cute. When I wear it--which is rarely--I feel like Im wearing a childs teething necklace. It is pretty, though.

FYI: More yellow 💛 than green 🍏. Good quality otherwise.

This necklace is so lovely. When I got the first one that I ordered, I loved it so much that I ordered another one. It is genuine amber, not glass as one reviewer stated. It’s about 16 inches in length, so if you have a larger neck it might not fit you very well. I love mine, thank you so much!
