I use this for calibrating the flatness of a telescope and it works very good. This is not a normal use but one that requires a very even light plane. The device works great! It is very thin and lightweight. The USB cable is long and easily reaches a USB power adapter.A great product.

I assume that because the actual lights are in the power end, this board is brighter at that end vs. the other. It still works well for weeding vinyl, as long as you keep moving your project toward the brighter light. AND As long as you don’t accidentally hit the power switch while you’re working on something important, because it is also very sensitive and will shut off on you. Mine also arrived with a giant scratch in the plexi, but like I said, it still works for what I bought it for so I decided it’s not worth the hassle of sending it back. You win this time Amazon.

Good for beginners

I didn't realize that the board illuminate things with little dots, so that everything looks as though it is behind a screen door. From mailbox to trashcan in 3 minutes

While using the light box almost instantly it started to malfunction. With the small amount of pressure of my hand resting on it or moving it the light box would turn off. It stopped working within three days of actual use and I am returning as soon as I can to get a different light box from a different manufacturer.
