Gift for friend...she put it on over her work uniform in the local wmt parking lot in pouring down rain when I gave it to her! Drove home wearing it.

I ordered up a size, and the fit is just right. The fabric is a good quality 100% cotton with a smooth hand, but don't expect it to drape like silk. It is well constructed, and the petal sleeves are an attractive and comfortable styling detail. Because I am a quilter, I have vast experience with with 100% cotton fabric. To minimize shrinkage and fading, wash in cold or warm water and dry with low heat only. Remove promptly from dryer, and maybe you can skip pressing.I deducted one star from the rating because the dress has only one in-seam pocket. Very odd.

This is a gorgeous dress. While it’s 100% cotton, it has clearly been treated with something to repel wrinkles because it always looks like it’s just been pressed. Yet it still retains the lovely soft coolness of cotton. Some reviewers complained of the “tulip sleeves,” made from two overlapping “petals” instead of one piece, but I don’t notice any difference in the way this feels or looks compared to sleeves made from a single piece. The only time I even notice it is if a gust of wind blows one of the petals back a little. This is rare. The dress is very comfortable and durable and it gives you room to move. I would like the dress to be a little fuller at the bottom, not because I need the room but because it would help to keep everything covered when I sit on the floor or couch cross legged. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

I had read some very helpful reviews on line prior to purchasing so bought a size larger than normal. It was perfect. If I had purchased the size I normally wear it would have been a little too snug and I bought this for comfort to wear around the house. I love that I can wear in front of others if they come by the house.

Unfortunately, I bought two of these. One in Turquoise and one in Black. Pretty prints, but such stiff and uncomfortable fabric. I would not wear this for comfort and casualness. The sleeves are weirdly designed to form a shoulder pad look at the shoulders; really pointy. I’ve looked so hard for just a comfy muumuu. I purchased 2 when I visited Hawaii at Hilo Hattie’s. That was 10 years ago and they are still soft and wonderful. These are poor quality, poor design and poor fitting. I know I cannot return them because I washed them to try to soften them. Didn’t help. I will donate them or give them away and will not order more. I do not recommend these at all, especially at this high price.

I had to send this dress back because it was not anything that I had ordered. I ordered a cotton muumuu and it was 100% rayon. I ordered it with sleeves and it was sleeveless. I ordered a tea length and it was full length.It as the wrong dress. So I will not order from this company again.

Very attractive. It fits nicely. I can even go braless. I wish it came in more colors, because I already have a red one and a white one and a black one.

It needs to have more of a drape than it does and a softer material would work better for it to be really comfortable. The way it is made the sleeves causes the dress to be a bit snug around the arm area they need to change that type of sleeve to a more relaxed sleeve The dress runs smaller than they suggest you get according to their chart I should have ordered a medium size but glad I sized up to large as it fits just not crazy about the sleeve area. The print is very pretty but the material is a little too heavy for this type of house dress.

nice pattern, good fabric. was too big so I gave it away to a friend.
