Silky Smooth, Easy to Apply
The Biodermis Episof Silicone Scar Gel is very silky and easy to apply. A little goes a long way and you do not need much. It doesn't leave a film on the skin, and I can't even tell where it was applied. I apply this at night, but I could put makeup over it with no issue. My skin has had no irritation using this. I am sensitive to fragrance and the gel has no scent to me.It comes in a nice pump that allows you to dispense a small amount of product. The pump came with a plastic tab that goes over the front nozzle to prevent accidental press and release of product, so I keep that on, although it really isn't necessary. The biggest con is the price. Scar gels and patches take a long while of consistent use to show results, so I am using this daily and we will see how it goes, and then decide about repurchasing.

Very soft and matte finish
I use this silicone product as the last step in my evening skincare routine and second to last step in my morning routine (last is sunscreen). It is extremely smooth and leaves a soft finish. It doesn't feel greasy whatsoever on my face and helps to better lock in all the nutrients from my previous skin care steps for the day/evening. It is a pump style container which also looks very stylish. It does take at least 8-10 weeks to see a noticeable difference as skin does not immediately turnover I. 1 night.

No noticeable improvement
Item Reviewed: Biodermis Episof Silicone Scar Gel Pump, Premium Grade Skin Repair Gel for Scars, Stretch Marks, Fine Lines & Wrinkles - Advanced Scar Care, Fast-Drying, Non-Oily, Scar Cream Post SurgeryI've used this for over two months on an area where I cannot use the medical grade scar sheets. I have a scar going from behind my ear and down the side of my neck which is about 14 years old now. The scar was mostly faded, but I was hoping this would help soften the skin and destroy some of the scar tissue that built up. No such luck.It does help soften the skin, but that's about it. I've used other scar diminishing products on other areas with mostly positive results, so I was hopeful when I found this in a gel formula because of this scar's location. I know it's not a miracle product, but I haven't seen or felt much difference. Perhaps it's the area I've tried it on, but I can’t say I would recommend this based on my results, especially given the price.

Pro: It feels nice. Con: That's all it does.
I applied this daily over a period of weeks to a 25-year-old surgical scar on my arm. At first I thought it appeared to smooth it out some, but when I compared photos, it obviously was a placebo effect. I continued using it albeit with a little less enthusiasm, until the bottle was nearly empty. Unfortunately I noticed no change in the appearance of my scar. I will say that it felt nice, as a lotion/cream, but it didn't have any effect that was noticeable for me, and it's way too expensive for me to purchase just as a moisturizer for example.

100% Silicone Gel – Easy To Use Dispenser Pump
This is probably the most easy-to-use silicone gel product I have ever tried. The convenient pump dispenser and the smooth texture of the gel make it a very user-friendly experience. The gel itself is clear, and it goes on smoothly without a lot of effort to rub it in. I have not noticed any greasy, sticky, or tacky residue, and this product seems to dry fairly quickly. As far as performance goes, I want to start by saying that it is very important for me to have realistic and reasonable expectations, mostly because results can take weeks if not months. I did a lot of research about the potential benefits of silicone skincare products, and I spent a lot of time reading several articles and studies. My understanding is that this layer of silicone gel acts like a barrier to protect the underlying skin while locking in moisture. That way, the skin can go through the natural healing process underneath the protection of this silicone gel layer. Since this silicone layer basically seals the area of skin to which it is applied, it is suggested to clean that area well of any dirt, oil, bacteria, etc. so they don’t get trapped under the silicone layer. So, I’ve been washing my skin thoroughly, then letting it dry. After that, I apply some of this gel to the target area. I have not noticed any visible improvement yet of my scar, but it’s relatively early in the process. However, I have also tried this gel around my eyes where I have developed some wrinkles. The effect there is a little more noticeable, as the skin seems more supple, hydrated, and moisturized. To me, it seems like just a temporary effect, though, because when I wash it off, the “crow’s feet” reappear fairly quickly. So, it’s difficult for me to determine the effectiveness of this product at this point, but I’m going to continue to use it and I will update this review if I have any further insights as time goes on.

Non irritating gel
I needed this like now to improve my neck scar from surgery. I like how the texture is clear and doesn't irrate or make my skin feel itchy. I have some redness and hoping this will do the trick. A little goes a long way. Expensive. My dermo recommended this product for my redness.

No noticeable difference
I've been using the Biodermis Episof Silicone Scar Gel Pump on a large burn scar on my calf. While I had high hopes for this product, especially considering its claims for advanced scar care, I've yet to see noticeable improvements. The gel dries quickly and isn't oily, which is a bonus, however, I'm still waiting on the results for my scar. Perhaps, it may work better on fine lines or stretch marks as advertised.Given my personal experience, I would rate this product 3 stars to date.
