I have been using a CPAP machine for a little over 3 years now, and I have had to replace the original (name brand) strap twice. After repeated use the vecro stars to wear and the strap opens up easily when you shift your head on your pillow.I decided to go with this strap because of all the reviews and the product pictures showing it to be a much wider strap than the one from the original manufacturer.For starters, it is NOT as wide as the product pictures show it to be. In fact, the top strap is only 1" at its thickest, while the lower strap is 3/4" at its thickest. Definitely not as wide as the pictures lead you to believe.As for comfort, I have no idea why so many folks are saying this strap is comfortable. The strap has very sharp edges and made marks on my face just trying it on! Loosening it up only makes the face cushion leak, and it still digs and scratches my skin.I'm guessing that maybe the first few dozen or so of these masks were made like what the product picture looks like, but once they started mass producing them they subcontracted it to some nameless factiry with no quality control measures.This is by far one of the biggest disappointments I have gotten from Amazon. It seems like lately (for the past year or two), most of the products I get from Amazon are poorly made with very little resemblance to the product pictures.Lately I have been buying less and less from Amazon because they keep selling low quality items like this one. I'm really getting tired of spending money on items that promise to be great but turn out to be low quality disappointments, like this strap.

As a CPAP user for over ten years, I have needed replacement head gear often because the Velcro gets clogged up with lint and dirt, and the strap detaches during sleep. While I have learned how to use the tip of a cuticle scissor to scrape the dirt off and it works again, there is nothing like a brand new strap, and this one is excellent. Here is why I like it better than others I have used. The length of the Velcro attachment is longer, so there is better adhesion. There is a small wider area that prevents the strap from coming through the mask clip if you do not want it to. For those of you who may prefer detaching and attaching the strap as opposed to undoing the clip, this is a fantastic design feature. Makes it easier to put on every night too. I highly recommend this product.

I was expecting better strapping, but this is twice better than ResMed crap! I would recommend if you need a tight fit for no leakage.

My old strap was curling over, making it impossible to use the velcro anymore. When I received this item i was impressed how sturdy/thick the material was. the straps are a little wider than I had expected, but it worked great nonetheless in my Nasal CPAP Mask. The Velcro is NO FREAKING JOKE; it will hold till Jesus comes back :D. Great product for a great price!

Completely satisfied with my replacement strap purchase from this seller. The straps itself are solid and well made, seems like they are made of good material and well put together. I have no concern with the build quality, I'm sure they will last me for many years. Getting them attached to my headgear was a little tricky at first considering I've never had to attach straps to the headgear before. I was still on my original straps before they started to come apart. But is not rocket science, I had it all put together in 15 minutes. They do seem kind of tight but I'm guessing that's just me not giving it too much play. I'll have to play around with it for the next few nights until I find the perfect snug fit that will also keep my perfect seal.

Great price and easy to put on.

Despite other reviews it doesn’t come with headgear. Luckily I got some before for my old mask, but the wide straps didn’t fit that, so got new. Connecting the lower connectors is hard to line up while wearing. Straps l have don’t stretch.

I gave it a 4 star because it is a trial and error method to assemble. Once in place on face there is more leakage than I like. The leakage causes a wispering sound that takes a while to accept.No further comment
