Great product
I ordered these after checking in the big box stores and finding only thin wire anchors that came in limited quantities at high prices. These are heavy gauge steel with sharp point and will certainly last a long time. They are shipped with a light coat of lubricant to prevent rust during storage. Shipping was fast. I did notice after installing then in my landscaping that they showed surface rust the following day after being exposed to weather but even with the rust, they should still last a long time. Next order will be galvanized. Easy to push in and wont bend if you have to use a mallet. Overall, a great price for the heavier gauge and quantity. I'm pleased

Sandbaggy 8 Gauge Landscape Staples - Good Product
Pros:- Thicker (8 Gauge) than standard staples (11 Gauge)- More easily able to penetrate heavy Clay or rocky soll without bending.- More easily able to penetrate heavy commercial landscape fabric or tarps without bending.- Thicker galvanized coating making the staples last longer without rusting.- Surface of staple is rougher than most 11 Gauge staples so it grips the soil better and is less prone to pull out of the soil.Cons:- More expensive than the 11 Gauge staples.- Heavier than the 11 Gauge staple so more difficult to carry around a case of the staples. If you need a heavier gauge staple that will resist bending and penetrate heavy clay or rocky soil better then you need these 8 gauge staples. Yes, they cost more and are heavier than the 11 gauge staples so get those for the applications which do not need the stiffer, heavier staples since they cost less. Use these staples when you need them for really heavy clay or rocky soils. They are worth the extra money to work when you need them. Why spend the extra time and bother trying to pound in the lighter staples and have them bend over or not penetrate the substrate. Get the right product for the task and your overall installation cost will be less.

Best staples I’ve used yet
Theses are very strong and sharp. Can be hammered into hard rocky ground without bending. The extra length helps also. Lost one star due to the packaging. They are in a thick plastic bag. A box would work better, others I’ve purchased were packed that way. Just dumping them in the shipping box works however so not a big deal.

Very tough staples
I have rather hard and very rocky soil. These staples punched through the soil and were stopped sometimes when it hit a large rock, but often slipped past smaller rocks with hesitation, but without damage. By far the toughest staples I have used so far.

Great staples
They are heavy duty and sharp on the bottom of the prongs for easy installation. Would buy again.

These are really heavy duty.
I rarely write reviews but I can tell you I only bent two staples out of 200. They are way stronger than staples I have used in the past. Good value!!! I am getting another 200 to hold down my plant protection cloths.
