When I opened the package I was a bit worried. I knew the foam needed to expand, but it didn't look like it could possibly form any type of sturdy steps. I let it sit for about 6 hours and when I went to check on it it was fully shaped. My dogs were a little wary at first since the steps aren't as defined as their previous ones were. They had stairs made of plastic. They had no problem going up, but were scared to go down. After a couple of tries though they quickly got the hang of it. I like the non-slip backing on the bottom so that the stairs stay put.

This product is cheap, it’s made out of soft foam that is not firm enough for a dog to climb. It is tiny, hardly big enough to offer any support for a dog to jump onto a normal sized couch or bed (my dog is only 9lbs). Plus because it’s made out of very soft foam it’s very unbalanced. It’s so wobbly that my dog would not climb onto it. Additionally because it’s expandable foam it comes packed in a tiny box and it’s impossible to get it back into the box to do a return. Total garbage. Do not buy

The foam stairs come tightly packaged with a separate cover. My dog didn't like them. They are slightly wobbly and made him feel insecure when jumping on them. Returned.

Not sure how stairs come from the glob of foam that I received. Left it out for hours to see if it would expand and nothing. I bought 2. Waste of money.

good for the dog, but top step has already kinda lost its shape after few months.
