Update (2), seller has offered a full refund for the issue I experienced, keeping in line with their 90 warranty. I am very satisfied with the service they have provided and would consider buying another product from them again.Update (1), heard from seller and requested a refund. Will update as things progress but it's looking pretty good at the moment.Putting this here because when I tried to reach seller via Amazon email, I received a reply that the message could not go through. Maybe they will see it here.The battery provides pretty good charge, however, yesterday I removed the case from my phone for the second time since I purchased. Last night when I tried to insert the charge cable, with the case off, I could not insert into the lightning port. When I looked I noticed something was in the port. Apparently when I removed the case a piece broke off in the port. Fortunately I was able to remove the piece (pictured) which seems to have been connected to the piece that inserts in the port. Anyway, not comfortable with a replacement so I tried to request a refund, but as mentioned in the beginning, the email was rejected.I suppose if you put the case on and leave it on, you will get good service from this case, but be aware when removing as it has the potential of damaging your phones port if you are not able to remove the piece if it breaks as mine did.

This is an exceptional battery case that serves its purpose well when it is working. However, just after 40 days of use this charging port of the battery case is now damaged and only charge the case (and thus the phone) when the cord is held in a particular angle (horizontally).01 - 24 days: Worked perfectly24 - 30 days: The lightning port lock mechanism of the case started to act up. As in, lightning cable has groves on the horizontal side so that the phone's port can lock on to it when inserted. It is a spring mechanism that locks the cable and port. The case features the same thing, except its exceptionally weak (i think poor quality of Won't on the case port compared to phone port).30 - 40+ days: Wont hold up the cable, neither it charges when inserted organically. I have to move the lightning cable around to see at which point it charges the battery. The frustration of this has made my perfectly 5-star review to be 2 stars.Note: An original apple lightning cable has been always used. A care was always taken to remove the phone in a manner that won't fracture the port. In fact, the phone has been removed only a couple of times since the case was installed on it.

UDPATE 2: I'm moving back up to 3 stars because the customer support contacted me and immediately offered to replace it. Once I have it and I see it works, I will provide a final update and if it stays working, I will revise back to 5 stars. Stay tunedUPDATE: Changing from 5 stars to 1 star-of course 2 weeks after the allowable return date, the product stopped working. It still charges itself, but won't charge my phone and doesn't allow my phone to be charged while attached. I'm so disappointed. This was a really nice, thin, battery.Surprisingly a nice, high quality case. It's slimmer than I expected and having to tap the button twice to activate the battery keeps it from being used unintentionally.The color is matches my red iPhone. It does add weight, but it isn't unreasonable.

Worked well day 1, then stopped working completely 1 month after purchase. Attempting to return but , even though sold with a 1 year warranty, Smaiphone refers you to Amazon's return policy which I'm out of range as of Feb 1 2017 (Purchased Dec 22 2016).Update:Customer service heard my complaints an was is extremely responsive, original order defective , immediately replaced by seller. New Item working so far so good, recharges my almost dead iPhone battery back to +90%, wish it covered all corners, but the way the phone slides into the case (from the top) makes it impossible.8 months later and still working!

The side frame became loose soon after I began using it, meaning that when I grab the phone from my pocket or when I'm putting it back in my pocket, the contacts between the lightning input on the phone and the lightning output from the case become unstuck and the phone stops charging without my knowing.Further, the lightning input in the back frame also became loose as though the "hooks" made to hold the lightning cable in place were no longer present, meaning that the lightning cable just slides out of place with even the slightest force.I did drop the phone with the case once, so I wouldn't really ask for a refund or replacement, but these build problems showed up well before I dropped it.

Cons:1. I got the black one, The rubber/silicon portion of this devise attracts lint, so it might look a bit dirty soon after you use it.Pros:1. Fairly thin compare with some of the other battery cases out there which may or may not have comparable juice in it.2. From personal use, after my battery goes around 10%, it was able to recharge it back to 100% while I was still able to USE THE PHONE! Good enough for me.3. Enough silicon/rubber around the edges to protect the phone.

When this battery case is working it is wonderful. However mine quit working soon after I got it. It only worked for about the a week or 2. It won't charge anymore and I even have to take the phone out of the case before I can charge it.This is actually my second charging case from this company and the other case did the exact same thing. I thought the first time that I just got a bad case but it seems like they are all like this... It is unfortunate because I really like the case and it wasn't bulky and the color is really pretty

I used to work in iPhone accessories- this is a solid product. Some issues with the plug not fully connecting in the power port, and limited charge cycle when power button is pressed are a couple of flaws. but the build quality, the size, the features, the clean design... make this a solid 4/5 stars. The price is on point. They could sell these to a popular brand, slap a logo on, and sell it to you for $65 and you would be happy!
