Arrived today, the battery outlasted my 80 year old shoulders. I used it for half an hour and it worked better that I had anticipated and cut through some pretty thick stuff. I have decided that if I give it half an hour a day I can do the top of my hedges without a problem. I do the lower part of my hedges using my mains clipper but don’t like using ladders any more. These clippers are the answer to my prayer if a bit heavy for me. Battery still showed three of the four lights when I had finished so pleased with that too

I've had my Hyundai long reach trimmer for a few weeks and so far it has performed well, proving extremely useful in my garden full of trees and shrubs which, hitherto, I have had to pay good money to get others to trim and tame. So it will probably pay for itself within a single season! I quite enjoy using it too; easy to handle, not too heavy and with very sharp teeth! A handle/hand-hold somewhere along the shaft, preferably adjustable, would not have come amiss, but that is a minor gripe. The main surprise was finding that it was made in China. What, I wonder, drove Hyundai, long-established South Korean manufacturer of all things from ships to cars, electronics, chemicals etc etc, to outsource manufacturing of its garden tools to the enemy across the water?

I purchased this to maintain my large laurel hedge. Instructions and assembly very clear and the charger gives good power. I was surprised that there was no advice regarding maintaining the cutting blades so use light oil spray after use. The machine extends easily but is a tad heavy albeit I coped quite easily. I’d advice using ear defenders plus eye protection. It’s robustly made and good value for maintenance jobs albeit if your hedge is particularly high, the reach may be inadequate. Best check. A good product.

I've had several hedge trimmers but this one is the daddy. Will cut branches around 6cm no prob and good reach, not too heavy, charge seems to last well. Sculpts hedges well and can do most of work from ground then reach over top to level them. I use an extendable lopper too as some branches are just too thick but not many.

Good for getting to the high up places on the bushes and conifers. Can get to places in the garden I couldn't before. Saves climbing a ladder with the smaller ones. Good quality easy to assemble, with good balance. Look good and easy to get around the garden with them.

I needed to trim my conifer hedges 6 feet tall plus.. I read endless reviews on every one available and settled for this, because of the weight of the telescopic pole.. and it was cordless..Firstly I'm just over 5 feet tall and a petite 60+ lady.. so you see my dilemma.. first use I was shattered at the end.. battery lasted well over an hour and I took longer than normal because of getting used to it.. pole extension feels secure in place and it won't start if it's not inserted correctly.. shoulder straps were good I would have liked an additional handle on the trimmer bodywork to hold to help support the lifting.. a good buy reasonably priced and it did the job surprisingly well.. and the majority of my gardening products are Bosch, but the weight was too much and the reviews not good..Sometimes it helps to step outside your comfort zone and try another make..Highly recommend it

I found it either to be blunt or not strong/fast enough to cut properly. Ive been using it on small shoots and the soft pines of fir trees and often it will brush them down or brush past them without actually cutting them. Luckily i have another one that isnt telescopic to do the sides of bushes and it cuts through them like demascus steel. I will say it reach is good however, but again, as others have mentioned, it is very heavy. I lift weights and do manual work and i find my arms ache after a while - im yet to try the strap though. Long story short, it does the job (just about) just not very efficiently. Maybe i got a blunt one. Either way, i wish id have returned after first use, as its too late to send back now.

Very easy to use. Cuts extremely well and extremely long reach.
