I never thought I would become a developer snob after 37 years of coloring, and recently starting to bleach as a canvas for vibrant colors, but here I am.I used to be okay with a huge vat of Salon Care developer for $5, but this stuff just makes all color, and of course, it's matching bleach, so much better. Its consistency is always nice and creamy, and it really does its job when you use it...and doesn't smell too bad at all. I love it!Great seller, too!

Best developer and bleach combo on the market. I was out of town and far away from my beauty supply store to do my sisters hair so but the bullet and ordered off of Amazon. If you have issues with this brand swelling while in foils, an old educator taught me once to add a few drops of tap water or any water into it to thin out a tinyyyy bit and it takes away the swelling. No more that 4-5 drops. No damage to remark on but I do use olaplex number 1 everytime I highlight/bleach so I can’t comment on the bonding of this but have heard other stylists say without olaplex they hardly if ever get breakage so that’s great. It also smells great. I only use a 7 volume to start with and work my way up to a mixture of 7 & 20 volume to make close to a 15 volume then to 20 near the end as I get closer to finishing. There’s absolutely NO NEED for anyone to use a 30,40,50 volume on ANYONES HAIR. That’s insanity and you don’t need it,ever! If you take thin enough sections so you can see through it even on level 1-4 hair, you can still get 9 levels of lift with a 20 volume with Blondme it just takes patience. Don’t destroy your hair for quicker results. Slow and low is the way to go!

Although this is much more expensive than other developers, it truly is worth every penny. The consistency is thicker than ones I've used in the past. I mixed this with 1 part Igora bleach and 2 part developer. **A helpful tip: When mixing, add the developer gradually. I typically pour 1/4 of developer at a time. You will notice the difference in consistency and texture (no clumps) which means optimal results.I immediately applied the mixture to the parts I wanted to bleach, making sure I saturated every hair. I started from the back+bottom and for these parts I didn't use foil (just in case I didn't work fast enough and it would over-fry lol) I did however use foil on the rest of my hair. Even though this is 40 volume, it didn't completely ruin my hair like I thought it might. After I was done, I wrapped my entire head to retain heat for 30 minutes and washed out.My roots were brassy but it was expected from my hair's history. I have naturally dark Asian hair with red undertones and am constantly dyeing/bleaching it. But the rest came out a level 9 blonde which was the goal. I then root smudged including any brassy sections to cover up any warm hues, then toned the bleached parts. It came out silvery like I wanted.(Sorry for the photo of wet hair but it was taken immediately after I was done washing everything out. Once dried, it was a silver/ash color)

I ordered this to use with Schwarzkopf Blondme bleaching powder and toner. Works well and smells really good. Arrived timely and undamaged, I saw others received theirs open/damaged. Would purchase again.

I got this developer along with the blondme bleach powder. I have virgin hair that hasn't ever been processed or anything until this application in attempt to go from a dark redish brown color to begin the process of achieving a pale blonde or elderly blonde. I was told before that bleaching my hair would damage it to the point of no return & that I would lose my curl definition & volume, along with makin my hair dry. This was not the case at all. Although this is the strongest developer, if used professionally, & properly you can & will achieve great results using the 40 developer. In one application my roots went pale blonde/ elderly blonde & the rest of my very long curly hair went to a bright golden blonde with only minimal brassy/orange tones; mainly pale blonde & some pale yellow blonde going on. The scent is not too powerful, & overall is a great value for the bottle. I recommend this product specifically & also the other brands under the schwarzkopf company as their products are probably some of the best out there.

I had my DIY hair bleaching at home using this developer and it's so gentle and mild on your skin and hair and yet still gives you amazing lift!I had previously dyed my hair twice and permed my hair, so it was damaged. I wasn't so good with my technique so I had to bleach my hair multiple times but it still didn't damage my hair too much.Comparison between Wella developer and this product:I had to lift my roots. I went through a bottle so quickly since I was a beginner and was not really familiar with bleaching. So I bought a developer from Wella (same 6%/20 vol) since it's cheaper and I've seen people using Wella developer.This time I used Wella developer instead of Schwarzkopf's to tone my hair using Wella T14 + 050 toner.The smell was so bad from developer (I've used it with Schwarzkopf and wasn't bad at all) and it was stinging my eyes this time.Wella developer is about 1/3 of Schwarzkopf's pricewise, but I would definitely go with Schwarzkopf's for the next purchase.

This is how this product arrived. I mean, cmon, use some common sense when packaging items like this. What is that tiny bit of bubble wrap going to do? Obviously nothing. I'm returning it and going through a different seller. I've used this product before and it works well, so that's why I'm not rating it lower than 3 stars.

Works great with both bleach powder & toner. I quit going to the hairdresser after I discovered it. At home results turned 10 times better x

Es hat super funktioniert, auf meinem vorher mit Drogerie Blondierung zerstörtem Haar.Es wurde von meinem dunkelgelb zu hell- orange, die noch dunkelbraunen Haare auch, der Toner hat es dann neutralisiert, bin begeistert 🥰Meine Naturfarbe ist Dunkelbraun, habe 9% Blondme Pulver, 6% Blondme Developer gemischt und danach 6% Developer und den Wella Ice/Lichtblond Asch Toner verwendet (Mischverhältnis immer doppelt so viel Developer wie Pulver oder Toner) Einwirkzeit kann ich nicht genau sagen, weil ich damit Balayage gemacht habe und es insgesamt mehrere Stunden gedauert hat und ich zwischendurch eine Strähne zum prüfen gewaschen habe. Aber sicher ca 40 Minuten.Viel günstiger als beim Friseur und es ist noch so viel übrig geblieben, eine kleinere Menge wäre praktischer für zu Hause. Und ich bin keine Friseurin 😊

Ich habe es wie angegeben mit dem passenden Pulver gemischt und als es dann zusammen in der Schüssel war und auch gut vermischt war wurde es immer mehr bis die Schüssel übergelaufen ist und die Schüssel ist sehr heiss geworden. Aber die Farbe im Haar ist gut geworden.

Das ist das beste Blond was ich je hatte... Ich habe schon viel aus dem Drogeriemarkt gekauft und im Internet, aber hier zahlt sich Marke wirklich aus... Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen... Der Geruch ist kaum wahr zu nehmen und es brennt auch nicht auf der Kopfhaut... Da muss man Schwarzkopf wirklich ein großes Lob aussprechen...

Ich konnte nie in 10 Jahren, keine richtige blondierung finden. Immer hasslige gelbstiche. Dieses produkt war mein Retter !!
