Could have been good but…
Doesnt fit on JLU seat bolt..

No stability without bracing.
I got this to hold my uv5r and hand mic. It was stable for the first couple days but after that it started to move around a bit. About a week later and it started rocking back and forth with acceleration and braking. These bendable "arm" type holders use soft metal to create a rigid but movable shape which is suceptible to breakage. Still, the bracket for the seat bolt mount is useful, after grinding the sides down to fit. Installation was simple after I ordered the right (t50 because BMW) torx bit for the seat bolt.

Sturdier than expected!
I expected this mount to hold my Midland walk or-talkie without a problem, but I was *very* pleasantly surprised by how strong it is. Truly it could hold the weight of a large iPad without a problem at all. It was also extremely easy to attach to my seat rail, and I’m not very handy. Good value!

Very happy
Very rigid. I thought it was going to be the quality of a cellphone type of mount but this is much better. Stays in its place. I'm using it with my Beaufeng UV-5R along with the hand mic unit. Holds prefectly.

I did not get what was advertised.
Very study and well built, but the main purpose I purchased this mount was to have a mounting spot for my auxiliary mic and it did not come with a mount for it. Now I am stuck with a half baked solution.One pro is that it is VERY sturdy.
