This works and works well. I've had it on my phone for a a couple months now and have no complaints. The biggest challenge with installation is removing the old back. The suction cup supplied in the kit was poorly formed and laughably undersized for the job. Even after heating the back of the phone to a point that I could barely handle it, the supplied suction cup wouldn't break the adhesive. I ended up using a two inch industrial suction cup I had on hand. That took a lot of force. If you don't have one available, make sure you buy one when you purchase this kit. Otherwise, installation was straight forward.

This is a very good quality replacement. Easy to install. Watch You Tube for the process. You need a heat gun. Looks like the original even has the logo.

Many years ago I replaced a screen of a device I owned and it was a success. I tried again a few years later and it was a disaster. I told myself I'd just pay to have someone take care of it if I ever needed to do so again. Well, although it's still glass it was the backing this time, so I thought maybe I'd give it a shot. But this time, I bought a heat gun because a hair dryer just wasn't cutting it during the previous attempt to remove the adhesive.This product included every other tool I needed (and at least a couple that I didn't) and after applying a good amount of heat - and being SUPER CAREFUL running the "guitar pick" around to release the edges because I watched videos showing how easy it is to cut/break the little cables barely tucked in 1/8" from the edge! - my phone looks and feels brand new.I haven't tested its water resistance and hope never to need to but I'll try to update if/when it lands in a body of water or I slog through a torrential downpour.

I broke the back glass on my samsung. I followed all the directions, watched the video on how to remove and install and it was very difficult to do. The first 1 didn't stick and the second 1 I bought didn't fit correctly
