My hair is thick, medium-long length (well past my shoulders) and usually I go through hairbows like crazy due to stretching out or breaking. At one point before ordering these, I had ONE good hair band that was not stretched out I was saving for an occasion should I need it. That's how fast I typically go through hair bands. And I've tried all types, brands, etc. Gave this one a chance because they were cheap, had good reviews, and if they stretched out then I would have plenty on hand. I have been using them exclusively for 2 weeks and not a single one has stretched out or broken. Typically, I stretch one out every few days and often after the first use.In addition, I can do a loose pony tail with only 2 wraps (at night, this works well as it's pulled back but not too tight), or a tight one with 3 wrap arounds for the tight pony tail or can pull out for the loose ponytail look but that holds extraordinarily well all day. I have done a messy bun as well, and they work beautifully. One of my sisters has already ordered some and I've given a few to my other sister. These are a dream for thick hair (and I would think thin hair as they are tight!). Thanks for an awesome product!

My hair is very thick and I have not broken a single one of these hair ties. I also do Jiu jitsu and Krav Maga so it’s important I keep my hair out of my face during training. These do the trick as far as holding my hair up and keeping it from getting in my eyes during ground work and training.

These are great hair ties! I love that there is a variety in thickness so I can use them for different types of hair styles. I also love that there is no metal on them to pull or get stuck in my hair. I have long hair and these work great for me! I will buy snazzy from now on!

I have long and thick hair, and while these elastics are advertised for thick hair, I found that they don't work well for mine. Perhaps it is the length of my hair, because when I try to tie it up in a bun the elastic won't go around enough times to hold my hair in place. I wouldn't buy them again.

Great elastic hair ties, I put 3 in my ponytail at a time, and they hold up well, 3 weeks now and still using the same ones. When I run out I will be ordering more. For a guy there great for thin hair, probably small for a woman's thick hair

I have thick hair and have had problems before with hairbands being too small or too thin, but these are great! They're big enough that I can get them around a ponytail three times without struggling, and they stay put. I'm happy I bought them!

Very thin and wear out easily

Bought the "thin and long" size. They are thin but are the same length as a standard hair tie. Not what I was looking for at all.
