What a great adventure that turned into a new lifetime for Nina! Unexpected and thoroughly enjoyed beautiful Italy! Love the language and the learning from this brilliant novel. Now I must go visit Camogli!

The story was great, and the friendships established were awesome. It's a shame they were a bit unbelievable. And the amount of alcohol they could consume and still walk was ridiculous! But the story was fun, and I enjoyed the over simplified experience of an Irish girl moving to Italy for a new life, even if it was unbelievable!

I loved the setting, I could literally feel the Italian vibe in this book: the big and small Italian cities and villages, the charm, the smell of coffee, hmmmm.The book is not only about romance, it is mostly about following your dreams, follow up on that little voice in you telling you what to do.I loved it and will be looking for more books like this from this writer.I’d definitely recommend this book!

I real enjoyed this book. Each character was developed well. Mina with her will to change and regroup her life and learning to believe in herself.

Wow! What an exciting and wonderful story! It will make you see the beauty in the country! And it certainly will make you happy, and a little sad at times. But it will also make you very happy that you took the time to read every word!

Really enjoyed the story and the beauty of Italy. Not a prude, but hated all the foul language. Wasn’t needed to enhance the story.

One of the best stories I have read in a long long time funny sad and just a great storyline it is not often that I say I can't put a book down but this one is really that way I couldn't put it down and when I did put it down I could not wait to get back to it I'm sure Anyone who reads it will find it enjoyable not overly descriptive couldn't help but laugh I will be sure to read this author again

I loved seeing her make a new life for herself. I loved the setting. There are some sad parts, and the main character stumbled around a bit, but I did like the characters and the story.

The story is interesting. The moral is if you persevere it works out well.

It will be a miracle if you make it through this book without wanting to immediately arrange your own holiday in Italy!The story of Niamh Kelly and her Italian escape is wonderfully warm and uplifting. Catherine Mangan's characters are very real, the dialogue is witty and sharp and I completely fell in love with the beautifully written depictions of this Italian coastal town. I was there with Niamh as she wandered the narrow streets and popped into local cafes and restaurants. I could taste the food, hear the buzzing harbour noises and absolutely imagined myself enjoying the sunset views over the ocean with an aperol spritz in my hand. An ideal read for sunny summer afternoons. A definite 5 stars from me!

Very descriptive of the scenery of Italy

I enjoyed the journey through Italy especially as I have not visited this part before. The story has a feel good factor interspersed with a bit of tragedy. Great read.
