So Far…

I've always been a fan of Kelsey Grammer, first when he was in the USA hit comedy show "Cheers" and then as "Frasier" the hit comedy spin off series.I really enjoyed finding out more about Kelsey, and found his book emotional especially about the loss of his dear sister. There were some comical moments in there as well.It tells you about his early acting career and how he got his big break on "Cheers" and then on how they decided to carry on with following Dr Frasier Crane and his life.Kelsey also tells you of the down side in his life and the struggles he's come through as well as the highs.I found it an enjoyable, interesting and compulsive read, and was worth every penny having it shipped from the USA via Amazon's Market place. :-)It's a must for any fan of Kelsey Grammer. :-)

Enjoyed this book with photos in the centre. Well written in a easy to read way, I read it in two days. Tragic early life but Kelsey Grammer says that he has been lucky in his professional life. A little out of date now so perhaps we can expect a catch-up version soon?

I love Frasier Crane, and I found this book by the actor behind the psychiatrist fascinating.Grammer is heartbreakingly honest about his life. He is humble and self aware describing his actions and experiences. It’s obvious he understands a lot about what makes him tick. If only knowing helped us make better decisions! Life is such a struggle.An absorbing, personal account of an intense, troubled and talented man. I hope he writes another book.

It's interesting and quite well written. However it does only cover his early life and I get the feeling there is a sequel pending. Whilst I think he is right to be chivalrous about his relationships with women (I cannot bear grubby kiss n tell memoirs) he could have been more honest and explored the emotional impact of these more fully or is he just a cold fish?

This is a brilliant read. If you love Kelsey Grammer, you'll love this. He tells you all about his life which has been very interesting. Also, I think the book is so well written; I couldn't put it down. It gives enough detail but not to the point where it becomes tedious in any way.I wish Kelsey Grammer had written another book I could buy! He seems like a very thoughtful Soul who has a lovely optimistic view on life, such an inspiration to us all!

Touching biography and great stories

Is this funny? Ask Sinfeld. I can hear Fraser's voice in the novel. If you liked Fraser, you will enjoy this.

I like the actor and was. keen to learn more about the. man but I was disappointed and confused by his style of writing. However I am not sorry that I read it.

Very good book. Kelsey is honest enough to write about his life. I learned some lessons reading his story. I admired the way he turned around his life and become very successful in Stage, TV and movie business. I understand how hard to lose somebody you love and although it is difficult to handle a tragedy like this but Kelsey Grammer had overcome it and become very successful in life. He is a very talented and I love him!

Als großer Fan von Frasier wollte ich mehr über den Schauspieler erfahren und habe mir diese ältere Biographie zugelegt. Man erfährt einige Hintergründe und es gibt Fotos, was eine ordentliche Biographie so ausmacht. Natürlich kann man sich die Informationen auch gut online zusammensuchen, aber ein Buch ist da irgendwie schöner. Wer gern einen Einblick in das bewegte Leben Kelsey Grammers möchte, der bekommt hier einen guten Überblick. Natürlich ist das Buch "alt" und es hat sich viel getan im Leben des Schauspielers. Aber seine früheres Leben wird wohl dennoch nicht mehr umgeschrieben werden, außer, er findet eine Zeitmaschine.
