Perfect fit if you lightly gring down the long ends
These tubes are laser cut. The short end is good, but the long end needs some slight grinding to get a zero gap fitment for your joints. If you do that, just keep your tube corners lined up perfect and you will make perfect 90's on every piece. My last weld came out less than 1/16" off, which was easy to bend and tack in perfect position. So yes, their cuts were great on my kit. I am an experienced fabricator, so for me this was about making a cool table piece. I chose to spend alot of time finishing the welds and graining the steel. I oiled it so it won't rust, but will probably end up sending it off for chroming. 👍

Great way to challenge me in my new quest to learn Tig Welding on a Variety of materials and shapes!
I have in my retirement decided to continue to challenge myself by learning things I have wanted to either learn of improve my skills on. I have not Tig Welded since they called it Heli-Arc, some 40 years ago.Sure, You can weld lots of scrap metals you have laying around however that gets old pretty quick. If you have something that you can use as a reminder of your efforts that show your skills and provide a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction along the journey it adds an incentive to do your best! That is all the justification I needed. What better way to learn something new and have fun along the way!

Not too bad
Super thin square pipe wall, so hard to weld. TIG kept burning through so I used my MIG. Filled burn holes and welded together. Finished product came out good but I felt like a grinding hero. I like the detailed design draw it comes with. Worth the price just for that. Now I can make better ones with a thicker gauge pipe.

Went together well
Arrived covered in grit but, no big deal. Went together well but, gaps were too large for my tig welding skills.Mig welded and ground the welds and even powder coated the thing. All good practice.

It’s a work in progress, lots of cleaning up but it’s all together

Great idea, a real challenge for novice welders
This is a really cool concept. A practical way to practice welding besides welding together scrap metal. The kit just comes as a box of metal parts, all cut to the right size with angles so there is no cutting needed to start the project. I am using a small MIG welder and started by tacking everything together to make sure it looked like the product photo. Nothing is included in the packaging to help you, so the photo on this page is all I had to go off of. I took my time and got it tacked together and then it was time for the hard part. The metal is very thin and it's easy to cut through the metal walls if you are a novice welder. I struggled a bit at first and had to do a lot of grinding and re welding but by the end of the project, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on it. The piece looks pretty cool when finished and can be sanded and painted or just sprayed with a clear coat so it won't rust. Or you can let it rust which might look cool.Fun project overall. It's not cheap but it's a great way to get better at welding and end up with a cool piece of art when you are done. This was a lot harder than I was expecting but I really enjoyed the experience.
