Kalorik Glass Color-changing LED Digital Water Kettle

This kettle is programmed to shut off automatically at the preprogrammed temperatures AND/OR at 212 (boiling point at sea level.) Our kettle will not automatically shut off when it reaches boiling point (about 202) because the sensor has not reached 212 and it won't reach 212 at altitude in Colorado. There is no functionality available (I called customer service) to change the boiling point temperature. This seems like a big miss for such a fancy kettle and also a safety issue. The unit will automatically shut off when enough water has boiled off and the water has dropped to the minimum water line, but that could take a while if the kettle is full. The kettle will shut off automatically when it reaches the other preprogrammed temperatures though, just not at boiling point.

I love this kettle!! It is faster than any of my previous kettles and has 4 temperatures to choose from ( one colour for each temp)140, 160, 175 and 195 degrees Fahrenheit.I love how it lights up my kitchen in the dark too!
