O2 COOL Fan 8 inch Battery or Electric Operated Indoor/Outdoor Portable Fan with AC adapter, Tilts 90 Degrees

This is an excellent battery operated fan which is perfect for outages. it has all that's needed to providedecent fan wind. A good feature is it's fold-able for storage in it's box when not needed. So glad we found this small but necessary item due to hurricanes and outages in our State. Very pleased.

This fan is the perfect size for personal space. I put it on the bedside table at night and it cools very good and is quiet. Bought it because I live in Phoenix, Arizona and power can go out during summer storms and I must have a fan when its 115 degrees!

During our recent power outage this fan made my night bearable. Can’t sleep without a fan.

I have purchased various O2 fans over the years and have found them to be very useful during power outages and for outside events during hot weather. If you need fan for a small space this fan will provide a strong air flow that you can feel at least three feet away. The price is great if you are on budget and you need several.

The fan works and is quiet as advertised but the product information states“is compatible with 8-D batteries”Not True! It only takes 6D batteries = 9VDC.If it took 8 batteries (8 D batteries = 12VDC) it would make for an easy 12 volt cigarette lighter conversation to be used on an RV or boat.If these companies could get their descriptions correct there would be a lot less returns.Also delivery took 2 extra days.

This fan moves a lot of air for its size. I bought it to go with my hurricane supplies, but I like it so much that it’s never made it to the storage closet. It is light weight, has an adjustable air flow and switches easily from power cord to battery. A an excellent addition to our heat mitigation gadgets. It’s Florida; we need all the help we can get!!

I would give it zero stars if I could. Purchased in anticipation of upcoming Hurricane Dorian. Arrived when expected, but it is useless. Would not work with brand new batteries, would not work with the electric plug. I was really counting on this to use as part of our hurricane emergency kit, and of course at this point there are no battery operated fans in any of the stores in my area. As soon as storm passes and roads are safe I will be returning this. Do NOT order if you are really counting on a fan that will work right out of the box.UPDATE: I contacted the company who makes this fan and this is the reply I got from them:"Our 8" fans were discontinued about 3 to 4 years ago; therefore, Amazon had no other recourse but to honor the return. I am sure this was a mistake on Amazon's part, but we only carry 5" and 10" models of our fans."That was all they had to say about this product. Amazon gave me a shipping return label (THANKS)--I do not recommend ordering ANYTHING from the company who manufactured the fan.

Great - simple & versatile fan!!!

Overall a good sturdy product, but doesnt move much air.
