Works well to catch stitches to pull them out
I really find this useful to remove previously cut stitches several at a time. I find it hard to hold. It needs a proper handle. That thin metal is hard to hang onto and it twists in your hand. I wrapped tape around it and it helps, looks crummy but makes it more easy to use. Also less likely to lose it as the metal by itself is almost invisible in the sewing drawer.

Excellent product
This item is so great to take out stitches on your quilt on the frame or out the frame. After buying 1 and tried I like it so much, I end up buying another one.

Perfect for picking out stitches
As a long stem quilter I use this when my thread breaks or I run out of bobbin. Helps me pull my thread back to a piece where I can accurately get started with my design again.

A real timesaver
I am old and can't see very well. This device makes it possible for me to pick basting easily, and even pick 12 spi sewing when needed.

This item should have some basic instruction. If I had seen a better picture of this I would have realized that a small crochet hook would have been as effective at a lower cost.
