I installed both in about 10 minutes after watching a how to video. Been 10 months of heavy use and working great in my Dodge Durango.

Now my hatch stays open

We ordered these for our 2013 Durango a few weeks back and my husband and 13-year-old son removed the old ones that had worn out and replaced them with this new set. My teenager actually did most of it himself while my husband held the back hatch up for him to do so. It was very simple and went quickly. We were thrilled at how much we paid for these struts because we got quotes from the car dealership and it was outrageous to replace them. So this product worked out for us big time. The only downside is that they are so "new" right now that they are harder to pull the hatch down to close it. Lol, it really takes some strength but in time they will loosen up I'm sure. The grocery attendant that loaded my pick up order the other day could barely close it. The last ones had gotten to a point to where they wouldn't even stay up anylonger so we'll take harder to close instead of dodging a knot on the head.

These work great. I had bought a different product from someone else and I didn't hold the hatch up. I have tested these the same after I installed and have not had any sign that there will be any problems.Strongly recommend.
