Nice dash cam!
It is my first dash cam. It works very well on my Honda Accord. Considering the price, it is a great product in comparing with other similar products. The product is solid. The design is nice. The quality of video is impressive. It provides high quality 1080p HD recording both in the daytime and nighttime. The wide angle lens allow to capture more useful information. I perform most functions. It is easy to operate. The app is easy to use. I can download video by WIFI to my phone. The vibration monitoring is a good feature. If the vibration happens when engine is turned off, the dash cam will automatically start to record about 30 seconds. I verified this feature by turning off engine and slammed the car door. All the Right Features and Supports Custom Wiring Configuration
I've been looking for a dash cam for a while now with specific features in mind. The WIFI connectivity was new to me, but greatly respected and appreciated. I wanted a camera that was sleek and blended in with OEM styling. The adhesive backing plate makes for easy install and removal and is more concealing and less "clunky" than the typical suction cup application. This camera fits nicely behind the rear view mirror of my 2005 F-150. (I was also interested in the D7 camera, but I came to the conclusion that it would not fit around my mirror base.)Regarding WIFI connectivity... I was able to successfully sideload and run the FinalCam application on a Fire tablet, but was unsuccessful connecting via the app on a Blackberry OS (yes, I still use a Blackberry). Overall, the app is straight forward and easy to use.The camera's RCA video output cable is also a nice feature! I have not seen this on the more common dash cameras, but this enables me to interface the camera with my aftermarket in-dash DVD player. For this reason, I was intentionally seeking a camera without a small screen. One advantage is I am able to navigate the camera's menu using the two push buttons while viewing my in-dash display (no WIFI/app needed). What is also nice is that I was able to align the camera when initially mounting it by seeing the live feed on the display. I will note that using the WIFI connection is the way to go for syncing the time stamp to a valid time.I was thrilled to find this camera with the separate B+ and ACC wires (and not a cigarette plug). This met my needs for customization. I was able to install this camera to support three different ACC "triggers": Ignition On, rocker switch in dash, and output from my aftermarket alarm system that can be activated remotely from my key FOB. This took some additional circuitry but allows for various ways to begin recording, depending on the situation.One thing I've observed about the recordings is that they seem to happen in 1 minute blocks, rather than the 3 minutes as set in the settings menu. This doesn't bother me so much, as long as all the footage is there.

Very nice dash Cam
I have used this product for about 3 weeks. Overall, i am satisfied with its performance.I have looked for this kinds of products for a while, i picked RoadRover's D8 because of its specification and the price. It uses the most popular solution of dash cam with the affordable price. It works well in both day and night, i am so impressive with the quality of the video and voice, It also has a sensor to detect any vibration even you turn off the engine, it is a very nice feature.I asked help from the service guy for the installation, he gave me clear instruction. You can do setup via the APP, sometime the app can not connect to the camera, you need restart the dash cam to make it work.Again, the product fully meets my expectation. I love it.

One of my friend recommended this dash cam to me, and I have been using it for couple weeks. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The product is quite unique to others, powering cable can be perfectly hided rather than hanging an ugly cable on the dashboard down to cigar lighter, even though it might need some time for you to figure out how to install it properly. And the camera module is removable once there is stolen concern. The video/image quality is pretty good and easily accessible through mobile phone app

I installed the application on my Android phone, it is very convenient to connect to the device and UI is friendly.Pros:1) Product is very solid and image quality is perfect2) Very convenient to use feature from the phone application.Cons:1) Information in Manual is not accurate. Like device name should be SLD_*** but it is CAR** in manual2) Have to connect to fuse box install charger socket, so it is a little difficult to install.Overall, I love this device

Suggest SD Card Reader With Purchase
Love my new dash cam! Video is very high quality! I had professional install only because I'm not good at that kinda stuff. Looks great and works great! I did purchase a micro sd card reader with lightening connector so I could view videos on my iPad and iPhone. Much better than the app they suggest you download!
