work like a charm for my 2015 honda crv

Easy to install
They packaged this thing up with a ton of padding and tape. There were no instructions whatsoever, so I relied on other reviews to install it. I put it on a 2013 Honda CR-V. There are 2 bolts next to the tow loops that come out. Mine were about 6 inches long, so I used these bolts to mount the bar. The ones that came with were only 2 inches long.The existing bolts had a little bit larger diameter shank than the slot used to mount the bar. I ended up finding a large drill bit to widen the slot, but I think it just needed to paint scraped off in the inside.Otherwise it was straight forward and easy to put on. It should have only taken 20 minutes, but it took me 2 hours because I was trying to find a large drill bit.

Cosmetic only
Looks pretty. Flimsy mounting. NO instructions included. I hired an auto mechanic to custom install it. Mounting brackets hang on only two frame bolts. Oem bolts were used, as kit bolts were not long enough. This device will provide no real protection against any kind of impact.
