It’s really pretty cool. I had to use the included tool to adjust the water level, but after a bit of experimenting it worked wonderfully. I completely enjoy it.

I have this in my living room in front of my window. This has beautiful color and when the outside light hits it it adds character to my room. Love this!

Well no matter how many times I flip it I can never create peaks like the picture shows, tiny hills are more like it.

I had a small square version if this many, many years ago.My 10 yo Grandson is one of those hard to buy for children since birth.He has everything and my daughter in law has a wonderful pre K day care. Finding an enjoyable gift for him has always been a challengeHe truly enjoyed this gift. I liked that it had a stand as well.Mine was only a thick rectangle box.

The description says it is 12 inches. It is not. It is a solid 10 inches from edge to edge. Visible area is only 9 1/8 inch inches. The sand flow is incredibly slow, but I’m okay with that. I may try adjusting that sometime. Overall, not bad, but not $36 good; especially given I’ve been shorted 2 inches from the description.

Nice size, well-made, beautiful colors (I got the blue). The movements of the sand as the disk is flipped arehypnotic and beautiful.

My husband bought this as a gift so had it for several weeks before giving it to me. Within a couple of weeks it had failed - the sand no longer trickles down slowly as it should - when you turn it over the sand all dumps down at once - it doesn't make the pretty scenes that happen when the sand falls slowly and there is nothing peaceful or restful about watching it dump so fast. The big bummer is by the time it failed it was too late to return it. There is another sand art from a different maker that he bought, I also reviewed that one. This one wasn't worth the money to us.

The media could not be loaded.  The sands are very susceptible to cold temperature. Doesn’t work as well if it’s cold. My product was damaged right out of the box. The black frame around the circle has white scuff marks all over it! I tried to wipe off with a paper towel, thinking it was just Styrofoam, but that did not work. I will be returning
