Amazing with a little lube, but isn't everything?
The media could not be loaded. I've but about 50 packs through these in the past week, pushing them to their limits. I'm running these on a 6" build using 4s, 30a esc's, and a Omnibus F4 Pro w/betaflight 2.3. These have an imminence amount of thrust and speed. Doing acro with these has been fantastic, the punch is there for when you need to catch yourself, and for those moments you need to do a nice long punch out to space. I haven't ran races with these, but even after a long punch out, and blasting around trees, they come down nice and cool, comparable to some of my top end motors. I cant recommend these motors enough. Some things I did before taking them out for the first time, is adding some extra lube to the bearings and I used my own screws to have the perfect amount of thread engagement, the ones that come with are a bit short if you soft mount, and lastly I used lock tight. If you had an issue with these, you didn't take these precautions. They are a budget motor, so you have to assume you need to go the extra mile to make sure they last. But its well worth the extra 15 min of work. I'm linking a flight video. These are stock PIDs with 0.8 rc rates.

Great Motors for the Price
Great motors for the price, obviously not perfect but very good, especially for someone getting into the hobby wanting to build an affordable, but decent handling quadcopter. Lets go over the down sides of these motors first before going over the pros of them.Fist of all, they don't feel like they have as much power as some higher end motors, but they still have enough to punch off the line quite well. They are fairly durable, but have dented one, and the bearings in a few are feeling and sounding a little off after numerous crashes, although some of this is to be expected. As far as good points, I haven't had a problem with them burning up the ESCs or running hot. In fact the BLHeli_S 30A ESCs run these very well I have found so far and max current draw at full throttle has only been about 85-90A so no problem puffing batteries either. When I got all of mine (I ordered 2 sets) they had no play in the bearings back and forth or up and down, and spun very smoothly and without excessive cogging. Although the bearings are feeling a little off now, they have been crashed quite a number of times on one of the drones (probably around 50 times, at least 3 times into concrete and twice into mud puddles, completely submerged both times) for a learner drone. The other drone I have them on the bearings feel almost new still with only 2 minor crashes and only a couple motors giving off slight signs the bearings are not in mint condition. Both drones still fly very well, and paired with the BLHeli_S 30A ESCs and a DYS F4 Pro FC and a decent PID tune, feel fairly locked in.The one thing I absolutely love about these motors as well is that they each come in a nice little cardboard box, wrapped in a bit of bubble wrap and a little plastic baggy of bolts and a piece of heat shrink tubing. I like this because you are not spending money on packaging, this has been my biggest problem with EMAX motors, they aren't that great I have found, but you pay more for them and it feels like a fair bit of that money is going towards the really nice plastic box, with precision cut foam and other packaging wank they come with. I am paying for a motor, not packaging that will eventually find itself in the garbage or recycling. So to conclude, these are not the absolute best motors on the market, you aren't going to see Mr. Steele or anyone else running these anytime soon, but they are decent motors and very inexpensive and I would highly recommend them to someone building their first quad that will likely crash a lot. They allow you to not worry so much about damaging expensive motors in crashes, and allows you to maybe use your budget to buy a little bit better part somewhere else, like ESCs or FC or whatever.

Not the best for even the price
Their 2205 2300kv motors were solid, I bought these expecting the same quality, unfortunately I was wrong. Two of the motors had serious bearing issues even after dabbing high speed machine oil on them. Very noisy motors!

Incredibly fast motors! Outstanding price for performance.
Oh my goodness! So I've been running Emax red bottoms (2205 2300kv). I got the itch to build a minimalist quadcopter (ultra light) about 3 weeks ago but I didn't want to throw another $100-$150 at a motor set.In walks these Gartt 2206 2400kv.Naturally, I'm skeptical. $40 for a motor set, pshhh something has got to be wrong with those. I sat on these motors for over a week and finally commited. Delivery was obviously not Prime but from China it was much faster than normal. These motors rip. I've tried at least a dozen different motor sets and been witness to another two dozen of a friend's motor sets. None of them have been as fast as these. If you're looking to get into this sport and want a VERY fast quad, this is a great place to start. You're going to crash, a lot, and you can purchase almost three sets of these for the cost of some motor sets that will perform almost identical.Sincerely blown away by the performance. I'll post pictures at a later date.

Reliable, and affordable. I'd buy more.
What I like about these motors is the way they look in contrast to a black carbon fiber frame. They arrived well packaged, and were a cinch to install. The price is were these motors shine. Although some of the cheapest by price, you wouldn't know it in performance. Now they don't provide that"tear your face off" Brother hobby power, but they definitely don't disappoint.Another thing I like about these is that they are half tough. They have been regularly flown for about 5 months, and still run as good as they ever did.One thing I don't like about these is they seem to introduce a bit of noise into the system. You can definitely hear it, but you are able to tune around it. I've notice I have to soften up my FC a little to keep it from being noticeable. Seems like there may be some quality control issue going on with either the bearing themselves, or in the balancing. So Yay, nay, or maybe? I can Say they did well scoring 6 and a half out of 10 on the rating scale.Definitely earned their spot in the"yay"category. And for the price, I'd say they get another 1/2 a point for 7/10.I would definitely recommend these as a daily flyer, they're budget friendly, durable enough to last, and have enough punch to keep it fun.If your looking for a perfectly tuned, competition ready quad, maybe these aren't for you. Although they are reliable, they just introduce to much noise into the system.
