I am using this poker for several things: one for stoking the fire and moving around firewood, but also, I am using it to poke in the salt pallet reservoir of our water softener. We have noticed that from time to time that our salt pellet tank creates a cave, if you will, and by poking it around the tank, we are breaking up the cave, and making sure that the salt pellets go down. It is working out well for our need.Pros: very sturdy, two piece set.Cons: nothing to note at this time.

This is sturdy and lightweight, and does the job. I was hesitant ordering it based on some of the reviews I saw, but it's working great.

I got.this to use with my Solo Stove Ranger. It is a perfect fit. Not too big, not too small. My only suggestion is to put a coating on the handle for grip. Which you can do yourself if you want. It comes in 2 pieces and can be broken down and stored inside my Solo stove Ranger for transport..good value for what you get.

A nice inexpensive solution for my need for a wood stove poker.

I used this for my new fire pit and it’s really quality. Some of the reviews say it’s to short but if you’re going to be over the fire when using it anyway you should be fine. High quality and has worked on multiple occasions i’ve used it for. Would purchase again.

I guess I had ordered the wrong size. It was very short and not really safe to use in the fire ring. Just make sure you order the correct size you really want.

It’s small, shorter than a regular fireplace poker and light. That’s perfect for a solo stove or pit outside and it sticks upright in the ground easily from the point. Plus the price can’t be beat for something that lives outside!
