My daughter is almost 9 and petite, so I got this in a large. The fit is excellent, comes just below the hips at the flare, the lace is sturdy but so pretty. I'm so thankful for this product! She's not into graphic tees and even plain shirts are cut so small/short these days that skin is hanging out everytime a child bends over, until now.
