HWZ Tactical Folding Front & Rear Set Flip Up Backup Sights BUIS Black

This is a cheap pair of plasric sights.Like most things, they need modifications to work well or at all.So whats the problem? Most reviews say the issue is the sights will not stay closed. I installed these on a micro roni and gave the thing a good whack againt my leg. *pop* the rear sight said and stood up.Confirmed.A good hard look showed me the peep sight didnt allow it to close all the way. Well, let me just make a v shape in there and see if simply removing a vit of plastic fixes it.Yep. It did. Closed it and gave it another whack. It stayed closed.FixedThe other complaint in the reviews is the front sight post being short. I had a few of these posts sitting in a box so i can replace it with a better one if i need to.. first let me see if i can adjust it with a bore laser.Well. My post didnt need swapped and i was able to laser sight it in a few seconds and then adjust the windage.Bottom line: you're gonna have to fix it. Would i trust my life to these? No more than i would trust a single strip of duct tape to tow a car, so not at all. So what are they good for? I have them as a back up pair on a toy. You could us them on a plinker or a range toy maybe or if youre really broke these are better than guessing where the round might go.

My rating is based on the price, which all ratings should be. I laugh at all the negative reviews. These are cheap copies of the magpul BUIS. The magpul cost over $80. Obviously these aren't as good as the magpul. They cost $8. Do people expect to pay $8 and get magpul? For $8 these are great. Super tight, a bit hard to get on. $8. Once you get them on they won't move so thats good. The windage knob was hard to turn. $8. Oiled it, works fine. These are back up sights so if you feel the need to spend $80 get magpul. If you want sights that will serve as a fail safe to your primary sights/optics & don't want to spend $80, these are fine.

Little flimsy but you get what you pay for. Looks really good but the rear sight aperture seems a bit flimsy. For the price tho a steal!

These work OK but not great This is a poor knock-off of the Magpul MBUS The biggest issue is the fitment, which isn't great The molding seams are apparent and sharp Inexpensive sure, but there are better options for the same or slightly higher price

The rear sight was too tight to fit my top rail. While trying to force it on, the cheap plastic broke so it’s useless now. Used an actual Magpul for comparison and it fit just fine. Spend the extra $ and get a name brand.

Great for the price! A few hundred rounds after initial sight in and I haven't had the need to adjust them since.A couple things to mention.The front sight post is plastic and uses a small lock screw instead of the standard spring and detent. I overlooked that part and broke the sight pin. The seller was very nice and replaced the set for me immediately. My second attempt was more successful. Used a tiny allen wrench lower the set screw. Then used a 4 prong sight tool to adjust the height. Raise the set screw to notches in the sight pin.The bottom of the sight might have a little plastic bur on them. I used a pocked knife and shaved it flush. Fits tight and snug on the picatinny rail.

I bought these to replace the useless sights that came on my Crosman SBR BB rifle. Turns out they're almost as good as genuine Magpul BUIS sights. They were a tight fit on the Picatinny rail but they did go on. Some folks might need to sand them slightly. The sights lock in the down position securely and pop up easily when activated. The rear sight windage adjustment was actually easier than the Magpul's. The only negative is the crude detent for the front sight, which is just an allen set screw that must be lowered with a hex wrench before you can rotate the sight post to adjust it. However with $11 sights if that's the worst I can say about them then that says a lot. These are a fantastic upgrade to any BB or Airsoft gun, and a suitable set of sights for a .22LR or other recreational-use AR. I won't go so far as to say they're sufficient for a serious defense, competition or LE rifle but for the money you could easily do worse. Only time will tell if they hold up and don't suddenly fall apart, but so far they look to get the job done for a tiny fraction of the price of a set of real Magpuls.

They're probably what I expected for the price. But still not worth it. Put them on a rifle as permanent sites and they work. So not a total loss

Was kind of skeptical about buying these but I didnt want to take the plunge and pay over $100 for mbus sights at the moment. For the price these things do the job, ran it on a 5.56 AR-15 as set of backup sights and after 900 rounds they are still holding zero and are functioning properly. Great buy.

If you're getting these instead of the Magpul ones, I'd say save your money and get the Magpul's. These are a clone (obviously) but not very good ones. Edges are sharp, and it barely fit the pic rail of my WK180C. I had to file it down and also the edges are very sharp. Had to sand them down to make them look remotely good. They're cheap and they certainly reflect it.Overall though, if you're willing to put in the time making this fit and sanding the sharp burs, then get it. If not, do yourself a favour and get other one's.

S&TのHK416に付けようと思い買いました。・端的に言うと20mmレールに取り付けられません。20mmの幅より狭いので力づくで入れようとしても無理でしたので、60番のヤスリでゴリゴリ削って、やっと入りました。バリもすごかったです機能も一応するので良かったです。
