They can't activate my SIM because they don't have any phone numbers available to assign in the Montgomery AL area.
Could not activate SIM followed instructions to a "T" no luck. Finally called from another phone and got some one who barely spoke English, She treated me like crap and hung up on me. I called back and got another woman who took me all through the steps I did myself before calling and the first woman had to do, she stated there were no phone numbers available for my Zip code and as she was trying to figure out what to do the call got disconnected. So I call back again and have to go through the whole thing again just to have this woman tell me the same thing, no phone numbers available to assign to my zip code, She ask to give her another zip code, I gave her several more in my state and she could not get a number for any of them. The best she could do is escalate the trouble ticket and tell me to try again in 24 hours. I asked if she could call me back when they got it fix, no they can't, just up to me to try again tomorrow. Really! That's not all we can get Verizon cell service at my home and AT&T but I had to drive to town about 10 miles from home even to get a signal on their network. Their coverage map shows service at my home but there is none so don't trust their coverage map either. I only bought this SIM to test my Verizon phone to see if it was unlocked before I buy a SIM to use in China on a upcoming trip. According to Verizon all of their latter 4G phones are unlocked and this SIM at least proved that my phone can be used with another SIM. It would connect to their network and I got welcome text messages telling me to activate the SIM. So I'm waiting to see if they will work out their bugs and activate it and assign a number. Forget about using their web site to activate the SIM, you can't do that either unless you have a phone number assigned which you can't get until they activate the SIM, Really!

Easy to setup and use
The set-up instructions for the SIM vary depending on where you look at the instructions. I decided to try the ones on the packaging insert. It automatically bypassed one of the steps, but it still worked on an unlocked GSM phone. To setup this sim, I did these steps:1) Inserted sim, turned on the phone2) Dialed 622 from the phone. The screen turned blue for a moment, then returned to the dialer. It didn't seem to do anything.3) I called my other phone to check the SIM phone number. It redirected my outgoing call to an automated system that said the SIM wasn't yet activated and to input my zip code. After, it stated I would receive a text with the phone's number.4) I received the text with the number and now it works.

Awesome prepaid card!!
I bought this one for the time between having to give my work phone back and getting a new one at my new job! It has the 23$ plan already on it and you just have to follow the super easy instructions to install it! You can reuse it by putting more money on it and choosing another plan! Service worked well and you also have international phone calls for free which was awesome!! I’d recommend it for everyone looking for a short term SIM card or if you’re willing to pay 23$ a month for it!

Low cost option | free international calls
I like this Lyca network 15$ per month. The only drawback is it has weak signals sometimes.

Keeps Improving
We've purchased the $23 Unlimited International Plan seven times, and I must say, it keeps getting better. The delivery was fast (the next day), and the activation process was straightforward!

Think twice before buying if you are a visitor to the USA
I ordered 2 of these to avoid roaming charges while visiting the USA for a month. Had it delivered to Amazon Locker at La Guardia Airport, that part worked extremely well. After arriving at hotel I inserted the SIM card into my phone and followed instructions provided in leaflet. Could not get it to work. Using WiFi I eventually managed to register it online so that it connected to the network. Now I could dial 612 to speak to the call centre? The quality of the call was so bad that I could barely make out every tenth word of the voice prompts. This was in New York! Tried the other card in my wife's phone, also could not get it to work (both Samsung phones) In the process I got several configuration messages from Lycamobile, which I installed but none of them improved matters)Since I got zero value out of these cards I was quite surprised to read reviews of satisfied customers. So I am speculating that mobile phones maybe don't travel so well and that there are just too many settings that are different. Funny thing is that same phones work on roaming (maybe that's why its so expensive)

Great Choice- Unlimited Calls to Whole World (Almost)
Great Choice. Call more, pay less. I have been using Lyca since 8 months no complain. Hard luck if you need to speak to customer service they are worst.Performance: Awesome. I have never faced any problems in connectivity or data speed. I call India mostly. I have had a continuous calls to more than an hour, no issue at all. I used to have $29 plan, but thankfully now India unlimited call is available in $19 ( Less Data) and $23 plans(1GB Data)
