Q: if i get this will it let me clear a 35” x 12.50 tire on the back without it hitting the door? i also have a ladder on the back too. thanks

Some of this will depend on the wheel depth on the inside. I have 35s on my truck, but they are mounted on the stock 2007 17" rims....which are not as deep.

Q: How much additional lifting and spacing does this provide?

NO additional lifting or spacing necessary, and I run BFG All Terrain Radial KO2 TAs. 315/70R17 on factory FJ sport mags. AWESOME CHOICE for your cruiser!!!

Q: Little confused so does this fit a 08 fj cruiser? At the top of the page ir says it do. At the bottom is listed as it doesnt.

It seems to be a universal bolt pattern, however there are two different rear tire carrier part models that are slightly different so you might want to look further. Google "fj cruiser rear tire carrier/mount" for 2007 and 2008 and you'll see what I mean. hope this can help you!
